Games coming out this year? None. I don't even have a PS3, Xbox360 or Wii/U.

Those I have yet to play:

- Shadow of the Colossus
- Final Fantasy: Ring of Fates
- The Professor Layton Series
- Ape Escape 3
- Kirby Mass Attack
- Gun
- Okami (currently playing)

All of these are blind.

Well, I was looking forward to Prey 2.. Not sure what to make of it anymore with the rumors of developer change and such...

But I can be patient. :(

Watch_Dogs. I just think the whole idea of taking control of an entire city to be exciting and different.

The obvious one that Im cautiously optimistic about is Dark souls 2. Tanimura came in scared us all with words like "accessibility" and it greatly concerned a lot of us. However hes gone out of his way to try and address the concerns of the Dark souls community and I think that attempt means a lot. That doesnt mean the game will be good but its the attempt on his part that I really appreciate. Only time will tell if its the next great piece of art or a steaming pile of things gone horribly wrong

The second one Im looking forward to is Titanfall. It may be the next big competitive fps on PC gaming and even if it isnt I think its still going to be fun to play.

The third one on my list is Divinity Original sin. Its rare that true RPGs come out. Most of the games in the RPG section are just games with tacked on progression that resembles leveling and no actual ability to roleplay a character. However after having played the Alpha (buggy as it is) Im looking forward to its full release because its a roleplaying game where you can actually roleplay in it. Imagine that

Fourth on my list is Dragon age: Inquisition. Que the masses of people coming after me with torches and pitchforks because I actually want to play something published by EA (besides battlefield 4 so I guess potentially liking two games published by EA has earned me a bonus lynching). Dragon Age: Origins was great along with just about every other bioware game before it. Since then I dont think Biowares made a game thats really engaged me beyond an appreciation for how it tried to be different from every other game in its genre (i.e SWTOR). With the debacle of DA2 and recent mass effect games I want to see what they've done with Inquisition and how they've developed the world. Plus its an opportunity to see if they're going back to their roots of well made games with deep story and interesting characters or if its going to be another game littered with nonsense and overpriced DLC.

Dark Souls 2

Titanfall

Dragon Age: Inquisition

If he can get some playable version of Star Citizen up, then certainly that.

Beyond that, I am sitting back and reserving judgement. I am also not actively seeking out previews or upcomings. I'd rather not get excited about something that just ends up being pushed back for years (Bioshock 1 and Alan Wake, I'm looking at you two... or anything from Blizzard or Valve).

Plenty of games that I'm looking forward to, but the big one right now is by far Wildstar. Game is amazing, just waiting for launch now so I can get to 40 man raiding goodness.

Cateqeusis, an indie survival horror game, and Hotline Miami 2:Wrong Number, an indie top-down fuck 'em up game. No my selection has nothing to do with my laptop being unable to run new AAA games anymore <.>

Games I hope will end up good

Destiny
The Division
Dragonage Inquisition
FF Lightning Return
Lilly Bergamo (because I loved the trailer)
Child of Light
Tales of Zestiria (And Gaikai because I don't have a PS3 anymore)

I really look forward Bravely Second, if it's as good as the first one I will be happy.

There is also Mass Effect 4 I can't really say I'm waiting for this game but I'm really curious to see what they are planning. Could be good could be horrible (I have no problems with how the first trilogy ended).

Finally this is pure wishlist but I really want a remake of Grandia (I love this game so much)

There are a good number of games that I am looking forward to this year. The games that I am looking forward to are Dragon Age 3(PC), The Witcher 3(PC), FF XV(Hopefully)(PS4), KH3(Hopefully)(PS4), Thief(PS4), Murdered: Soul Suspect(PC), Watch Dogs(PC), and The Order 1886. So far these are the games I am looking forward to in 2014. I am sure the list will expand though as the year goes on.

Mostly indie games of 2014, particularly a lot of the Kickstarter projects from 2012 and 2013, but there are a few AAA games that I want to play. Anyways here's the list.

Hotline Miami 2 - Less for the story and more for the quick paced gameplay, challenge, and soundtrack.

Transistor - Quite enjoyed Bastion and I'm curious to see how their next game fares.

Banished - City builder strategy game with more of an emphasis on surviving the elements and becoming a bustling metropolis.

Apotheon - I am absolutely in love with the artstyle of this game, which is reminiscent of Greek pottery art.

Routine - Roguelike survival-horror in space all about survival.

Among the Sleep - I backed this one on Kickstarter, psychological horror game about a 2-year old child and his teddy bear confronting some malevolent evil.

The Wolf Among Us - I suspect the season will be completed by the end of the year, and after the ending of episode 1 and I can't wait to get back into this game's world.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 - Again, I suspect the season will be over by year's end and while the ending of episode 1 was a little underwhelming, it was still a great episode and I can't wait to experience all the horrible things TellTale have in store.

Game of Thrones - Last TellTale entry. I think they will have at least one episode done by year's end and I'm really looking forward to seeing what they choose to show. I do kind of wish they were using the book's universe rather than the TV show's, but regardless, if any developer can translate what make's A Song of Fire and Ice great it's TellTale.

Watch_Dogs - I was a little disappointed this game got delayed, but if it makes it better than I'm okay with that. Ubisoft lost me with Assassin's Creed's overarching story but I still think there's life in the gameplay mechanics.

Heroes of the Storm - I doubt this game will see an official release this year, but I did sign up for the beta and am hoping I'll get into that this year. I enjoy Dota 2 and League of Legends, but I'm a very casual player and Heroes of the Storm looks like it's right up my alley.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Might have to upgrade my video card and processor to play this one (as well as Watch_Dogs), but this is probably the game I'm most excited about.

Wasteland 2 - Another one I backed on Kickstarter. Been playing the beta quite a bit now that they released that 1.5 gb update that fixed a lot of problems with the game. Still even in beta the game's mechanics work pretty well and even without optimization I'm getting around 40-50 FPS and don't notice that much slow down.

Pillars of Eternity - Backed this on Kickstarter, can't wait for it's release.

Thief - Despite all the bad press I'm still holding out hope for this one. Even though the devs have removed some elements of the game after negative feedback, I think I'll wait for reviews on this one.

My list isn't terribly extensive since I don't pay as much attention to upcoming video games as I used to.

Dragon Age Inquisition
Dying Light
Watch Dogs
Infamous Second Son

What games am I looking forward to in 2014?

Half-Li...

Damn it, sorry. Couldn't help it.

In all seriousness, there aren't many I can think of off the top of my head, but there are a few notables:

- Titanfall
- Homeworld: Shipbreakers
- Starbound
- Routine (tentative)
- Project Zomboid (tentative)
- Contagion (tentative)
- Limit Theory

S'about it, really.

It's quite telling to me that, save for Titanfall (and perhaps Shipbreakers), virtually every game I'm excited for in 2014 is an "indie" title.

I suppose the triple-A market just isn't as exciting, ground-breaking, or enticing as it once was. Oh well.

That said, though, there are a few games that seem interesting but I'm not entirely sold on them yet.

- Thief
- Star Citizen
- Destiny
- inFamous: Second Son
- Watchdogs
- The Division (if Ubisoft makes, and doesn't botch, a PC build)

So, I'm intrigued by these, just not excited.

I'm not really up to speed on what's being released and when.
But right now I'm looking forwrad to Hyrule Warriors (or whatever the final name will be), The nex Xenoblade, Mario Kart (WiiU) and Smash bros (WiiU).
Other games than those I don't know what will be released, I don't even know the planned release dates for those games. So I'll see what pops up and buy them as I find them in the stores :)

Shovel Knight
Transistor
Dark Souls II (so I can actually play it this time)
and
Metal Gear Rising: Revengence

That last one might confuse some of you, but, I game on the PC so MGR:R is a 2014 release for me, thus :D totally counts.

MGS ... I'ma a series fanboy.
FFX re-release, loves this game
Watch dogs
The division
DA:I
Oddworld ... just for the nostalgia kick!
Carmaggedon ... I love rock and roll racing 2 and this seems like a close enough game.

There are a few games I am curious about, such as mad max, Thief and kinda sorta destiny. I like borderlands a lot and Destiny looks like a more serious version but half the reason I like borderlands is 'cos of the lunacy, so a serious version is like dead rising 3 ... why so serious?

Well I'd really really like for Last Guardian to finally start/finish development.
This. I'm a pretty big fan of Team ICO's games, and I hope to hear some confirmation of whether or not it's going to be released.

OT:

I'm looking forward to Bayonetta 2, Kingdom Hearts 2.5, Oddworld New n Tasty, Watch Dogs, and Dark Souls 2.
