Did anyone honestly not know the meaning behind those terms? They're used pretty often in video game reviews...

Honestly, don't underestimate your viewers, Yahtzee

Maybe these terms need to be explained, but I thought these could be deciphered when you hear them in context.

For the first bit, it's not impossible that the life of Jesus as described in the gospels was a work of allegorical fiction. Various incongruities in the story when compared to what you'd expect historically and ... know what there's too much of a topic there to cover in a throwaway paragraph, I'll leave it at saying that there are interesting webpages about the potential for Jesus to be a mythical figure (or at least one that, as originally conceived, was a divine figure from the heavenly plane, without any earthly manifestation as a man) that anyone competent at googling should be able to find.

As to the second, I've always understood what was said. But know a fair number of long words, and am English (so the slang's never a problem), I may not be a representative sample of the population.

The comparison of Space Invaders and Kane & Lynch made me giggle. Other than that, getting out of ideas of what to write, hmm?
How did you get that impression?
It's Z/XP. Some people have to be negative even if they have nothing to actually say. It's a rule.

For example, you might be able to take cover from bullets, but if the cover gradually gets destroyed, that adds a layer of depth.
Why, that is obviously silly, sir!
Surely you mean to say that if your cover's destroyed then a layer of depth is, in fact, removed from the game, right?

Yahtzee praising Uncharted?

I bet he's going to be sore in the morning.
He liked the game itself, he just hated Nathan Drake.
I know, but he hates Nathan Drake a lot.

Eventhough he liked the game, to him it must've felt like playing Half-Life 2 as written by Joss Whedon.
I now want to play this. It would either be terrible, or fantastic.

I think Yahtzee's mistake, in the start of the article, is in thinking that religion and fandom are two distinct concepts. In fact, religion is just fandom for particularly old franchises.

What the Hell? I think Yahtzee is spying on me... and im not that fat, im working out...

and I actually joked with my friend by actually driving to a store and buying a candybar while he watched a cutscene from FF13. It took me about 15 minutes to and from, I got back and there was still five minute of scene left.

God fucking dammit I lost again! Yahtzee, you really are a professional troll!

I guess 60 Kgs are too much. Should really lose some of that weight...

What about triple cunted hookers? I am curious to know if there is any hidden meaning behind that phrase or if it's really what it sounds.

... So nothing about Triple Cunted Hookers?

The title mislead me. I thought the article would list commonly uttered Yahtzee-ism's.
