If mods suspend you or ban you for posting about copying the WoW files, that's quite silly. I'm sure if you talked to a Blizzard representitive about this, they wouldn't care either. You don't actually need the discs to play WoW, just the keys to enable the game on your account.

People who bought Spore had the same issue with trying to install the game, so, they must be breaking the law!
Bastards, that will teach them to buy games. MMORPG's like WoW are quite different to other software, as WoW requires a pay-to-play basis, so you can't pirate the game unless you use private servers. Though, now that I hear you got into trouble for copying WoW files, seems a bit stupid as to why they would care.
Also, OP, have you just tried googling the problem? That works most of the time. Or how exactly are you trying to copy the files?
