People like this are attention seekers. By putting him in the news and writing articles about him we are simply encouraging other bottom-feeders to seek their 15 minutes. This is why America is the most law-suit happy country in the world. Want to be famous? Sue someone that already is.
I want to put spiders in this guy's mouth while he's sleeping. I am so angry that I am calm,my only solace is in the knowledge that I can turn the computer off and walk away from this "news".

They call me crazy when I said I need a license to kill but here we are in a situation that could be easily solved by such a license.

If this is another stealth ad, has "Wrath" already been used? Also, how in the world could he get Marvin Lee Gore and Winona Ryder to testify? There's got to be something else behind the scenes of this whole thing.

EDIT: Oh yeah. I forgot. They used the "Wrath" one on Yahtzee.
Avarice, most likely.

EDIT: And honestly, I don't think it's a viral ad. EA would get in serious trouble if Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, AND Activision knew that they were behind the lawsuits.

Game Developers and publishers are not now or ever responsible for the sometimes-destructive, always VOLUNTARY acts of their players.

I question whether this fool has ever played World of Warcraft. There are no such things as "Teleportation Stones". The only thing that fits that category is the Hearthstone, which is available from level 1, unless you're fool enough to destroy (but even then you can get another one for free).

Mounts used to not be available until level 40, now it's level 20. Its unrealistic to expect an MMO to "god-mod" all their players so that they can fly around the map complete 2000 quests per hour. Hell, why not just auto-teleport the player to each quest (in the most efficient order, of course) and then back when done. That way we don't have to look at all that annoying scenery.

Everything about this is so unbelievably insane, I can really only think that it must be a hoax or something.

You do realise that in both the subpoenas, you've not censored out his actual address.

Someone mentioned wanting someone to slap him, anyone live in San Jose?

(The above was written solely for the purpose of entertainment, if you don't find it amusing Mr Estavillo, I guess I'll see you in court.)

People die from playing games that aren't fun enough?
If I would actually want to see this case if I were a judge. Just so I can see how many people and who actually died over not having enough enjoyment over a game.

The companies that he sued will probably fight him in court after this latest development. It just proves that this guy is mentally unfit to operate outside of a insane asylum.

So many pages on this thing, but really, I had to say SOMETHING.

It's guys like this that confirm the media's suspicions that all gamers are freaks. Granted, they're still stereotyping, which is wrong in and of itself. But that's what they do, and they're going to keep doing it, and this freak isn't helping us.

His subpoena attempts are hilariously sad. Like when Congress has anti-steroid hearings just so they can meet ballplayers. Ugh.

I can tell you one thing, though. With all his personal info online, the Internet is quickly going to give this guy a lot more reasons to turn off the damn computer and GO OUTSIDE.

Oh, and he wants a million bucks in punitive damages "for creating a game which hurts gamers rather than being a bridge of entertainment for them to pursue happiness."
It was at this point that I burst into hysterics and woke up my flat mate in the adjacent room.

Okay. Now it is painfully clear that he is just trolling. Nothing more.
My question is who the hell is representing this cabbage? Not even ambulance chasing lawyers would stoop this low and jack thompson has been disbarred. Is he representing himself? Because if he is managing to leave his house and go to a courtroom just full of people and then make his way through the reporters outside the courthouse then he is clearly not agoraphobic.
It was written in a previous article that he self represents.

Seriously, the mentally impaired guy who requires MMOGs, PSN and LIVE to interact is self-representing himself in a court room.

This isn't even a court case. It's a farce. Blizzard could send the intern they get to make coffee to appear in court and still win in less than a minute.
This.

I should've known this guy would pop up again, only a matter of time..

Fairly sure his agoraphobia has now gone to an entirely different mental illness. Can't the court get this guy into counselling or an assist home where he can be looked after? I'm dead serious too.
