I'd say if they're judging other civilizations to see if they should wipe them out or not, we should become best friends, we have so much in common.

But if it is "save" as in the Aliens save us from doom such as:
-asteroid hurtling towards earth
-global warming cooking the planet
-other alien civilisation attacking us
-nearby supernova
Then that might be possible as we can make the case that we should be saved - even though at huge costs to them - because we would do the same if we could. Why? Because as intelligent beings we must know more about the universe and if Earth is destroyed, so much history, experience, perspective and insight would be wiped out. So to for their planet/civilisation.
