Well, you could call me paranoid, but I prefer to think of myself as world-weary. And this "schism" in Anon right after a major attack on PSN reeks of a fabrication.
After all, it's very easy to commit acts such as these and pass them off as the work of a group of ANONYMOUS people to make them look bad... or worse, depending on where you stand.
Not that I endorse everything Anon does, of course, but this whole deal sounds like counter-propaganda to me. Wasn't there even a spilled document from an online security service some time ago that proposed to do exactly that to discredit Anon?

I feel like these attacks are proving a point about something I'd always been a little hesitant about. Storing your personal information online is REALLY stupid. Its just made that much worse that to function in todays society, you pretty much HAVE to have your details online. Credit Card information is saved for our "convienence" Our names and addresses are on sites we sign up for.
Hackers are ALWAYS going to be able to break into pretty much anything they want. I'm no PSN guy nor do I have an accound on Deus Ex, but I feel its only a matter of time before a site I do store personal info on is hacked. Like say, the Escapist or Steam.

Then do we get to blame the whole thing on the company, because obviously, it was all their fault - They were just asking for it, having the audacity to make a cyberpunk hacker-style game. And then, do we get to proclaim that the hackers were really doing this for OUR benefit? I mean, they're the real heroes, right?
