And here I was hoping to say that they don't share a niche. But it turns out Apple is trying to do games.
I use them for movie editing (though I've graduated from High School and will unlikely edit movies again) and occasionally Diablo II (haven't in months).
Now, I don't know anything about computers, but aren't Apples the ones that employ that nerd from Galaxy Quest to portray a human representation of their computers? The one whose character's nerdiness saved Tim Taylor and Sigourney Weaver from the situation created by nerdy space alien lobster squids? That movie was enjoyable, primarily due to the characters. Alan Rickman is awesome. His only weakness is Bruce Willis. And magic. He doesn't do so well against magic either.
