Apple Disses DS and PSP at iPod Event

I hope Apple suffers a HUGE setback. I am glad that the Apple store got robbed. Anyway, DSi has an 'app store'. DSi and PSP both have internet browsers as well. Both DSi and PSP games are well developed and generally( I only say this because I've seen some of the games for them) have decent games. Also, most iPod Touch/iPhone games are small little games with no plotline, no character development, none of that. That is why there are so many more games, anybody can make an 'app' and it counts. Somebody, please offer a counter argument.

while there are some real GEMS for $1 also.

It´s not like Apple gave away the SDK just only last year and left it to it´s own devices, waiting for what´s coming back. Apple take no afford on producing games on their own.

Along with all the console-racism that is already out there, ignoring that the iphone is the first REALLY USABLE pocket computer.

Is that it? Gee, most of those are just rereleases. The DS has a better library by far, and the PSP certainly can match it.

They sound like good titles, don't get me wrong, but they're not AAA quality, so Apple still can't talk smack until later if they start outselling all the competitors,and that's a big IF.

Yeah, but that doesn't make the games better. Cheaper isn't always better.

Again, I'm waiting until they outsell the PSP at least. They'll NEVER outsell the DS, so their smacktalking is nothing.

Apple is a giant pig-headed company that hates its users as much as it hates its competetion that needs to go die... alone. I hate the company and do not own or support any product from them.

That said, Zune HD is gonna kick the iTouch's ass and even the Zune HD does not stand on level footing as the PSP or DSi on the gaming side of life. (I am not fond of PSP or the DSi as well, a bit too casual for my taste)

Edit: For those who may not know, the Zune HD has the new Tegra processor in it along with HD radio, OLED, games & apps, social, zune pass, and a slew of other things that I am not going to bother mentioning...

Hmm i smell a bit of M$ Fanboyism here; and you can say the Zune beats the iPod touch when it takes over its immense market share.(Which of course it never will)

When they can make an apple product that isn't overpriced garbage, then they can have the tiniest shred of respect from me. Until then they need to stop bashing superior handhelds and stick to hawking their shiny expensive things.

Apple stuff is more expensive cos its better; making the jump from PC to Mac may have cost me a shitload of money, but frankly it's worth every penny to be free of all that M$ bullshit

iPhone's 21,1878 available games trumps the 3,680 on DS and 607 on PSP.

I wonder just how much of those 211,878 games are actually on par with the ones on the DS and PSP libraries? Heck, if the DS alone is probably mostly shovelware, with the must-plays few and far between, how much more for the iPhone?.

Can uh, can your Mac run Crysis? What's that? NO? Really? Then please silence your mouth. I had an ipod, it was terrible, I now have a zune, it was great. My family had a macbook, and every single one of us hated the damn thing. More money=/=better. Although I must applaud Steve Jobs for being able to sell an inferior product for 4 times what it is worth.
