So it edits out certain words? If the "Accidentally a coke bottle" thing comes back due to this just remember, I called it.

dammit how do parent expect their children to ever form adult relationships without a few praticse runs first

hope they don't want grandkids
There's this wild thing they call life now, where kids can make physical contact with other kids, and, even more surprisingly, meet people of the opposite sex!
hey There's this wild thing they call life now

or overbearing parents

look it up

This is an option to be turned on or off with Admin level rights. So if you own your phone, you decide to use it or not. If you are a child and your parent owns and pays for your phone, they get to tell you what to do. Where's the problem again?

Remember the guy who got banned because his name was like Richard Gaywood? Imagine the trouble he'd have.

Yes, because people won't just start getting really creative in their descriptions, using double entendre's, euphmisms, euphimisms within euphimisms, and more.

Or, you know, just not applying it to their phone. And jailbreakers are sure to crack that one fast.

Actually I'm against censorship. Especially when related to sex, swearing or "offensive material". But to remain on topic actually controlling what a person can say in a private conversation is so indescribably bad. That goes far beyond censorship. I'm not blaming Apple, I'm blaming that one particular group who gets off scot free when it comes to protecting and informing kids. The parents. Also I'm 20 and don't own an iphone so if you were trying to antagonise me with that last bit it's not going to work. No that does not invalidate my opinion much like my views of communism and oppression aren't invalidated by my not living in China. To sum up, when you can't say what you want in a private conversation the world has gone mad.
Nah, I wasn't trying to atagonize you, just the populace in general.
In all honesty though, parents are your legal guardians. Though they don't control all your rights, how often has your mom told you not to swear, or some such thing? I think it's well within a parents right to control something like this using this software. Although it were my kids I'd just hit them :)

I think we might be entering a fantastic new world of communication. I think the age of the innuendo is about to begin.

Now if you excuse me, i've got to go help this young lady achieve happiness by way of a showing much affection to her kitty cat.

See humanity, do you see what happened with your insane love for Apple? They're trying to block human sexuality now. Nice job breaking it, humanity.
They want to make people get kids with their relatives because they don't get to socialise via text messages. The more inbred people, the more Apple makes.
Just kidding, but I strongly dislike Apple though.

That's another reason not to buy an Apple product.
I'll stick with my Nokia, and soon HTC Desire HD <3

There's no point to this. There will just be other ways to accomplish the same goal.

A waste of time and money on Apple's part.

Kids have been screwing around with each other since the beginning of time, nothing's gonna change that, especially not a phone filter. In fact I'd think logically parents should be happy their kids have cell phones these days - every minute spent "sexting" is a minute not spent having awkward unprotected sex in the back seat of the minivan you borrowed from your mom.
