And who says it won't last? I've dropped my iphone plenty of times, being the clumsy oath that i am, and it hasn't missed a beat. I dropped my Nokia once and the backlight stopped working. It's no better or worse than any other phone on the market, yet every time there's an article about it, there's a hundred hipsters lining up to take shots at it.Twilight_guy said:It's great how you put words into my mouth, but you really shouldn't I already had diner. I'm just saying that I don't think it's a good buy. I don't care what other people think and I'm passing judgment on it. My phone is at least 5 years old and was specifically purchase because its an unkillable brick that will last forever. My computer is 3 years old and I when I bought it I planned to have it for at least all 4 years of college. I know technology changes quickly but I'm going to make an investment of few hundred I want something that is going to last a while before need to be replaced. That's my opinion and the reason I'm not buying this phone. If you want me to post something else then your SOL because that's how I feel.smudgey said:You could say that about ANY phone. You seriously think Apple's competitor's won't upgrade their products next year? And what about PC components? But you know what? It doesn't matter, because....Twilight_guy said:Wasn't this story already up... like a year ago... and a year before that too. Wierd.
It's not very efficient to buy a product that costs as much as an IPhone if its going to be obsolete in a year. Its quiet an investment for a 12 month item.
A: No-one is forcing you to buy it.
B: Just because a newer version is released, that does not mean the older version suddenly stops working. If you're happy with the older version, then you don't have to rush out and replace it (typing this on a 3GS btw).
C: What other people spend their money on is their business, and no-one else's.
Have a nice day.
By the way, if you really are in college, you might want to work on your spelling, grammer and punctuation.
