I might buy it if I have the money, but Resident Evil 6, and X-com remain my priority purchases next month.

It's my number 1 game in the near future. I pre-ordered it as soon as I saw the first trailer. Even if it is an unplayable mess, it will be patched and I love the ideas behind it.

It's not a Bethesda game. It's an Arkane Studios game. Bethesda is the publisher.

And I would reckon my chances of buying it are around 75%. Depends on reviews and such. It is thematically up my alley so I will accept a few faults, but if I hear anything about gamebreaking bugs I'm waiting for a finished version. Just like any sane person should.

Dunno why people still pay $60 (often up front) for an inferior first playthrough experience from someone who paid less a bit later.
Because if the game doesn't sell well, there will be no "Finished version"

OT: I'll rent it first and if I think it is worth it, I will buy it, simple.
Name one game that didn't get patched because of low sales.
Easy - Bloodlines. It got 2 official patches but none of them was due to sales - 1.1 came out almost at release date, 1.2 a short time after. And Troika pretty much made them on good will and sheer willpower, since they were getting shafted in the meantime.

I've seen one trailer about it, and that's it. It'll also be interesting to see something bigger from Arkane Studios.

Yeah, I'll be grabbing it.

There haven't been any good games out for a while now. I'm getting hungry.

'Sides, it looks good apart from the grossly overpowered protagonist.

I don't know, I quite like the vastly overpowered protagonist after playing a fair bit of Just Cause 2 lately (yeah I just got it, bit late to that party).

OT: Yes, I will most likely get it, it looks like exactly my kind of game so far, but I will be awaiting some community feedback first. Also, most likely on Xbox, which is where I prefer to play these types of games.

Already have it pre purchased from Green man gaming, got it 25% off. I love me some sneaky gameplay, don't get enough decent stealth games these days is you ask me.

Hopefully this doesn't interfere with my Warcraft grinding.

Almost definitely.
It depends on the reviews and whatnot, but given how fantastic it's looking, I'd be hard pressed to not buy it.

I know sometimes at demos at conventions aren't always like the games themselves, but I do have high hopes after I played it at fanexpo and from the looks of it, so long as you learn how to easily change powers it becomes an incredible game. Yes, yes it was a demo and the real thing may not be like it, but I feel that the game will be just like the demo and honest to god I love it. So yes, I will be getting it for sure. Preordered it and can't wait.

You bet I'm getting it. I've made that decision months ago.

It looks absolutely amazing. I am, however, prepared for it to be a let down as well. No ME3 expectation smasher for me.

The hype this game has pulled towards itself worries me. Any new IP with these huge expectations is bound to fall short in some areas, but I like what I've seen so far.

Already pre-ordered. Dont know why some of you are saying you haven't heard much of it though, they've been pumping out videos, theres plenty of reports floating around the web, an iOS game, various mini-sites on their main site and so on.

No. *cry*

I spent all my disposable income for the rest of the year on Guild Wars 2... then buying a second computer so my wife and I could play together....

Yeah, $800 later, I promised not to buy anymore games this year.

Dishonored came out of the woods so suddenly that I don't have any spare money to use. Damn you, Borderlands 2 and Torchlight 2! Maybe getting this little later, though. If it doesn't get crushed before that in media.

Eventually. I'm probably going to wait for a Steam sale for maybe $20-30 unless I really want to play the game right that second (doubt it will happen). I have too many games I've bought and haven't touched, and need to save money anyway.

Never heard of it...so no.

I suppose if it starts marketing to me I might care enough to research the game.

Yes, me's getting Dishonored as I need a PC game that will actually be a PC game, not some halfassed console port (Me's disappointed, Dark Souls[footnote]NOT interested in relaying my experience with this game on PC[/footnote]).

Captcha- save yourself.

From what? The possiblilty that this game might be bad? I'mma crazy prepared like the Batman, captcha!

Probably buying it, because I love hybrid stealth-action since I suck at real stealth games but wish I was good. I may wait a while to pick it up, though; not for price drops (though those are nice), just cause I got a lot of work / a backlog of games to get through.

Also, how are you not hearing enough about this game? An ad for Dishonored runs before, like, every single Escapist video. I'm sick of hearing about it and I want to play it...
