Not sure, it looks interesting but I'm not sure I'll play it enough to justify the cost. Though if I don't get it around launch I'll most likely pick it up if it goes on sale and I need more games.

I want it. I really, REALLY want it. But I can't afford it. So I'm going to wait until it goes down a bit in price, or even better: STEAM SALE!

I'm sorry, I can't hear it over the sound of Borderlands 2! :D

In all seriousness, this game is right up my alley with it's stealth elements and knife play (I'm a knife-nut [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KnifeNut]), but it just never quite had that *spark* for me.

The system requirements are also very daunting, while the gameplay is impressive, the graphics seem less so. Now don't get me wrong, graphics are hardly a point I make any of my game decisions on...but with regards to the trailers, I haven't seen anything that justifies such heavy requirements.

Why yes, just the other day, someone dishonoured m-
Oh. The Game.

Probably. Might find out a little bit more about the game first, it doesn't look breakout amazing, but it does look interesting....

Yes yes yes.

Looks like a great game and I'm pinning a lot on it as many recent SP experiences have let me down or just not been fun. It looks quite unique in some aspects too.

I'm eyeballing it, but I'll definitely wait for the reviews to come in. It looks almost like Half Life 2 + Bioshock + Thief = Dishonored, and that's pretty damn cool. In fact I think I heard that one of the designers of Half Life 2, Viktor Antonov, is one of the lead guys for this project so I'd like to see how it turns out. However...

Yup, pretty much this. I just shelled out $60 to pre-order Borderlands 2 (totally worth it) and am going to have to wait for the price to significantly come down before I spend any more.

The trailers look incredible, and I like free-roaming rooftop-climbing multiple-paths-to-objective style gameplay. However, nothing I've seen of it has sold the story to me, and that's a big make-or-break for me.

Also, Bethesda games have this long-standing policy of being grand and without peer in the big picture while failing in the small particulars. The difference being roaming throughout a city or landscape versus sitting down for a drink with your mate. The first parts they know better than anyone, but the latter is always stiff and soulless and unnatural. Not that this kept Skyrim from making a bajillion dollars, though.

Still, I'm at a point where I'm getting mature enough (read: pretentious enough) to not be interested if the non-action experience is too shallow. I'll wait for the reviews to come in on this one.

No: because of the 30-second spot. Bethesda knows what they approved...

Okay, mostly I'm poor. But also... that commercial! Grr! :p

Definitely interested - although will wait for reviews and some more gameplay videos on YouTube before deciding.

I prefer more "action" than "sneak" in my games, so it will depend on what mix of that there is.

I'm amazed at all the comments about Dishonored sneaking up on them, or that they just found out it existed. I've been quite inundated with ads for it for the last 8+ months, and as I was never interested in it to begin with I've only grown to become quite disgusted with it.

So I won't be getting it, but I will check it out on YT to see if all those terrible ads have mislead me.

It has all the right parts to be an awesome game, but its got that AAA shine on it, that shine that usually damns an otherwise good game because it ensures its just a safe, sellout game that pushes no boundaries. This game feels like an outright contradiction, because all of its parts are aftermarket parts that are full of innovative ideas and other good things, but it was assembled by a big faceless company. I don't want to condemn a game just because it has good advertising, but the past speaks for itself.

Most likely, but I'm more excited for Hitman: Absolution as far as the "assassination genre" is concerned. I'm sure they'll both be rather awesome. Assassins Creed 3 comes out around the same time as well.. weird. Assassination Season? o_O

Ill see. if it comes between this and AC3, Itll be tough. Based off of the game play trailers (which may I add there are a ton of), the game looks like a type of action game in which you only use two or three basic move sets or weapons (ie blink). Though it may be fun once or twice, i'm not going to be constantly possessing rats and using the more useless moves, which isnt something what I want in a game. We'll see.

Same here. Not really into that style of play. I prefer mastering the conventional, which is why I'm looking forward to Hitman.

Hell yes 2fish loves his FPS games. Nothing better than first person stabbing games. People need to smile more, 2fish will make them smile in the throat.

Stealth + FPS + Assassin story= one very happy 2fish. If they pull this off I will go missing for a while.

Oh permanently, my ex and I had a rough breakup and she's "consoling herself" by telling everyone that knows me that will listen of how awful I was to her. Still playing the bigger man and not actively trying to drag her name through the dirt to her friends.

Oh, I wondered why this was in gaming...

Yeah, it look pretty good. Won't pick it up on day one, I'll probably still be skint at the time, but I know people I trust on these sort of matters and on their approval I shall buy it when I can.
