I rather liked the trailer, but why should I care who wins? They're both good guys. I just want them to hug it out.

I'm loving all the Snyder vibe from this trailer. He's my favorite director in so many ways, and I could not imagine someone more perfect for this.

They named Superman "Man Of Steel"

And this sort of looks like Batironman

I think someone is trying to steal Marvel's thunder here.

The WW scene looked awful and the hell is she doing in this trailer?

The actress actually looked like a good pick though, the only good pick DC has done so far in this movie.

Edit :

Oh and it looks like we're getting the same old tired "hey this is Batman's origin, have you heard about that yet!"- moment.
Eh, they're aping DKR with the suit, which fits considering it was designed for Bats to be able to go toe-to-toe with Superman for a limited period of time.

So is Superman trying to beat him? I want them to fight, i want Superman to hold back and take the punches while he tries to talk to Batman. I want Batman to try everything, use every gadget but lose because its Superman. Like in Rocky where we applaud Rocky even that he lost. An i want them to come to an understanding and team up against another evil. If Batman wins, that would be so lame because if he can beat Superman then how can we believe that Joker can cause Batman problems.

Forgot that The Escapist is MCU fan boy central. Everywhere else is going crazy for this and I think it looks awesome - like a DC comic book brought to life. That shot of Batman dodging the laser with a grappling hook was perfection.

I think it looks pretty good. Visually it's far more interesting than anything Marvel has shown so far in nearly 10 years of cinema. However it could get a bit messy and busy. Glad to see they're not glossing over the destruction of Metropolis in the last film. Hoping the Batman origin story is only short flashbacks, and the dystopian future with the Superman army isn't too prominent in the film either. I expect it to be Batman and Superman fight after Lex engineers a battle between them and Wonder Woman stops them to fight a greater enemy.

It's gonna be stylish and cool.

How many movies is this? With Superman dealing with the fallout of Man of steel, Luther (I really don't like what they showed of him in this trailer) being revealed and having to fit in his plan, introducing Batman (though that can be done quickly at this point), Batman and Superman fighting, the trailer shows military personnel with Supes symbol so possibly Superman going dictator, and somehow fitting Wonder Woman in there. This movies seems like it's going to be either long as hell or everything is just going to feel rushed.

On the bright side I can actually see Affleck working as Bruce Wayne even though he looks at bit to old to fit the "just now starting as Batman" bit.
I think the Superman army / Sons of the Batman bit is only going to be a "what could happen" section but its visually interesting so might as well put it in the trailer. There's a Robin costume in the trailer too (burned up and gratified on) so this definitely is an established Batman.

To me this doesn't look like a crossover. It looks like they're trying to force Supes, Wonder Woman and Aquaman into a Batman movie and make them conform to the Batman archetype. We already have an entire trilogy of Batman and this movie starring Batman, so we don't need more Batman. I want to see some levity, some humour, some divergent characters instead of DC trying to make an entire universe of Batman clones.

Also I think I saw some of Bat's origin and the obligatory "heroes fighting each other because of misunderstandings" scenes. I really hope they get those over with quickly. And Eisenberg as Luthor is just... I honestly feel kinda sorry for Eisenberg. Him as Luthor just does not work, and whoever cast him chose really poorly. Affleck makes a great Bruce Wayne, but I'm still unsure of his Batman and as you may have guessed I'm kinda tired of Batman anyway.

I'm liking that they dealt with the fact that Superman basically destroyed Metropolis in his fight with Zod.

That being said, it seems like they are trying to cram a LOT into this movie. Lex Luthor, Superman's stuff, Batman's origin story, Wonder Woman, kryptonite. I hope this doesn't wind up being 3 hours long.

And yeah, I'm not buying Jesse Eisenberg as Luthor yet. I'm not an expert on comic book Luthor, but isn't he, in addition to a scientific genius, a smooth talker and amazing businessman? Eisenberg just seems really really awkward in these trailer scenes.

It started off alright but about a minute and a half in it started to lose my interest. It's all just so rain soaked and gritty. That's good for Batman but it isn't always right for Superman. The Bruce Wayne stuff is interesting, him having to deal with the destruction from the first movie, but it's an obvious retcon. Zack Snyder saw the backlash against the city destruction in Man of Steel and is trying to make it seem like this was the plan all along. Bullcrap, I say.

God, I hope they don't fuck up Wonder Woman and make her Bruce's love interest who just so happens to also be a superheroine. Please let her have her own backstory and don't make her have to be saved by Batman at the end of the movie. Also, no love triangles.

And Lex needs a better wig, he's a millionaire I'm sure he can afford one.

That trailer looked horrible. I was very hopeful that Lex Luthor would be acted very well by Eisenberg, the trailer seems to fail deliver any hope, especially the wig... still hoping the whole movies is better. Honestly though I felt like Affleck did a good job in the trailer portraying Bruce Wayne, I might watch the movie just to see how he does as Batman. Everything else seemed kinda "MEH" for me. The action might be some what cool, or at least I hope it is but the story itself looks like a disaster.

Still, I think I will watch the movie, for Affleck's sake.

Eh, looked alright.

I'm hardly hip-thrusting out of me seat with sheer jubilation, but I think there could be a basically entertaining movie in there somewhere.

Okay, I'm actually interested in this movie now. Not super excited or anything, but I think this might be on the right track. Batman's clearly already been around for a while, so we won't have to suffer through his origin story too much. Looks like a flashback involving his parents and that's it.

The fallout from the first movie seems to be a huge point here too, and I like the fact that Clark's mom says that he doesn't owe the planet anything, because yeah...Superman kind of doesn't, especially when they're calling for his head. Looks like he's going to focus more on saving people and turning into the hero we all know.

Curious to see how Wonder Woman is going to play into all of this. Perhaps she's been tailing the villains that are actually responsible for the attack?

The only thing that is making me raise my eyebrows is Lex Luthor. I thought the actor could pull it off. I thought it would be a new, refreshing take on him. But...it's just not working. This is supposed to be Superman's rival, and yet all I'm hearing is a spoiled rich kid playing at pretending to be powerful.

"The red capes are coming..." And this is the line that made me laugh harder than I thought I was going to... Good one, Joker...

Other than that, I needed more Wonder Woman in my BvS trailer... Otherwise, I can't wait for this three-part epic to come out[footnote]Well, I can... But, it has Wonder Woman in it... :p[/footnote]...

I liked it for the most part but I hated that female senators voice. It was like they saw Heather Wilson during the superbowl scandal and decided to lampoon her or something.

Yeah I knew it, the internet is freaking out, but here on marvel fanboy central, people are saying it will be a trainwreck XD, I LOVE the trailer, I want to see this soo bad, It's a nerd fantasy come true, I never actually believe that I would be able to see a movie with Batman, Superman and Wonder woman on it, Oh and it's not the only movie that fans are waiting for, Suicide Squad looks amazing, and after watching WW fight scene I'm waiting for her solo movie.

I think it might just be me, or maybe they did something with the trailer, but Superman's costume doesn't look as desaturated as it did in his movie.

Eisenberg's Luthor just looks and sounds stupid. And it looks like clips of Wonder Woman were thrown in at the last minute, as if to say "Oh yeah, Wonder Woman's in this movie too."

Other than that, though, it wasn't too bad.

That is what he said? I couldn't make it out because his voice was cracking up. Jesse Eisenberg looks like he's doing a rather poor job.
I had a hard time making it out at first because I was too busy chocking on Joker gas... But, yeah... That's the line I heard come out of Lex the Joker's mouth...

i just dont see how this film can be anything other than awful trash, so much stupidity in the script is required to let money fight god.

1 minute into the film superman grabs an asteroid out of the belt tosses it into gotham , 2 minutes in and end credits roll.

OK, I might be sold... enough to rent it went it comes to streaming services/Redbox/the shady guy in the trench coat at the street corner. I'm still not blowing $10+ for any movie.[footnote]Though, I might break that rule if word of mounth says this is actually good, just to spite Disney. The now canceled Tron 3 was going to be the first film I saw in theaters in years.[/footnote]

I'm not diggin EisenLuther, though. I share the fear others have of the writers infusing him with the Joker (possibly because of executive meddling).

Also, I'm really hoping Wonder Woman's role is more than just showing up for a few scenes to set up the extended universe. I don't have much faith Hollywood can make the Bats VS Supes storyline with a WW tie-in very interesting with just 90-150 minutes to work with, but I'd like for the whole thing to actually make some sense.
