Kreia, clearly. She isn't half naked with huge tits, so she's automatically my favourite character.

Yeah, Kreia was great. The cryptic-as-hell thing is so played out, it's near impossible to do right, but she nailed it.

I'm surprised the first mention on this thread wasn't Samus. She was the first kickass heroine in video gaming.

Yeah. I also like that they didn't really make a gimmick out of it (alright, it sort of was in the original, but it's been played straight since). I mean, they didn't go "Oh Em Gee, we have a woman character, we're awesome!" They just went "Yeah, Samus is badass. Oh, by the way, she's a girl".

Anyway, I actually have quite a few. Alyx definitely gets a mention, as does Farah. Zelda, especially in the more recent games (read: Tetra and Sheik), is also pretty good. I'd also have to mention Bastila, even though she's somewhat of a stereotype. Finally, I'd be remiss to not bring up...well, every female party member in Mass Effect, especially Tali Zorah nar'Rayya.

Definitely. Theresa tries to do this in Fable II but just can't get it right due to Kreia being far more philisophically interesting.
