Those two maps pretty much sold me on fps. Was never big into the genre before, but when the Unreal Tournament demo came out and I got to play those maps it was just an incredible experience, especially for its time. The visuals alone might look antiquated by todays standards, but back in yonder days it was truly mind-blowing. And what's better, the game ran on just about anything. Hell, it even has a mode to support computers without any sort of video card... seriously. Didn't work very well, but it was there!
