BFG syndrome

BFG syndrome is the compulsive need to use gigantic weapons unnecessary size to crush, blow up, smash, kill, maim, and other words that describe a horrible and merciless death.

What game characters do you know (or if you yourself) suffer from this syndrome, and what your favorite BFG is?

I myself want to point out that swords and other things like that count.

"BFG syndrome" is a horrible name IMO but while there is no kill like overkill [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill], I prefer cherry tapping over using an RPG to kill a mouse.

Dante and Nero from DMC series both have gigantic swords. Pretty much every weapon Dante uses is ridiculous.

Gotta agree with that. As yathzee said, you get multiple "BFGs that come with guarntees to shoot various flavors of lightning." There's three overall in wolfenstein (four if you include the rocket launcher, I don't). My favorite just has to be a good old fashion 9000 though. Nothing quite like the classics.
