Same here, ive had little to no problems playing the game. Ive had issues with performance in certain locations if a fight broke out, especially in the strip or in casinos and ive got a newer Nvidia card (ZOTAC Geforce GTX 460 1GB) so I shouldnt be having this problem.Jandau said:What fascinates me is how different the game turns out for various people in regard to bugs.
For instance, I played the game on the PC. I had zero significant bugs. No quests broke, no saves got corrupted, nothing like that. I had a few cases of enemies getting stuck in the terrain, but that was rare and not a big deal.
Also, I use an NVIDIA card, but didn't notice any performance issues, much less something that would warrant a special patch. Heck, I don't even have a good one. It's an old 9500 and it still ran smooth as silk.
Now, I'm not saying that because I had a smooth ride that everyone who says otherwise is lying, but I can't help but feel kinda bad for the game when it's constantly being bashed for bugs and called broken when I found almost no bugs in the game...
that's interesting because I'm runnning an above average graphics card (ATI HD 5830) and I'm having quite severe framerate issues no matter if i have the setting up high, or low. It's not a ram problem as i have 8 gbs, and It's not a cpu problem as i have a 6 core processor.Jandau said:What fascinates me is how different the game turns out for various people in regard to bugs.

That would be amazing, they should add it in as one of the random encounters with the Wild Wasteland perk.SirBryghtside said:I hope they add a little in-joke in the patch, say, a talking radscorpion that handstands on purpose![]()
I know you're kidding, but I don't think there's any reason for Bethesda to do that. ***** about them all you want, but Obsidian actually fill a particular niche in the CRPG ecosystem: they're the B-team you farm out sequels to when you don't have the time or inclination to develop a particular followup yourselves but can't justify passing up the money it'd earn you. They started out providing that service for Bioware, now they're doing it for Bethesda too, and it's an arrangement that suits both Bioware and Bethesda nicely.Lt. Vinciti said:Dear Bethesda,

I was thinking this also but then, what other games are coming out at the same time as this patch. Oh yes the (predicted) behemoth that is CoD. Getting it out ASAP was probably the best thing they could have done to get as many sales as possible. Impulse buyers would have likely have gone for FNV at the time it was out yet if it was relased at the same time as CoD I would probably see people following the crowd and grabbing that instead. That's how I see it anyway.ryo02 said:couldnt they have just not released the game for a few weeks for testing and patching? then release a game that isnt buggy?.
