The final boss fight in Spider-Man 2 for the PS2 was more frustrating than anything else I've ever played.

The final boss fight in New Super Mario Bros was just sad. Too easy to even be called a final boss, more like just another obstacle in Mario's way. They really made it too easy.

Gears of war 2 defiantly. I can forgive games like bioshock and mass effect 2 for their end bosses because huge fights weren't the main aspect of those games and their endings were very satisfying in other ways. but Gears 2! when the best part of your game is how cool your enemies are and fighting them against insurmountable odds you better have a better "final boss" that that

FFX was a bit of a let down.
Auron->Zombie Attack, Yuna->Full-Life, win game, cup of tea.

Deadpool in Wolverine Uncaged was also piss easy when you consider he's the only enemy in the game that doesn't dodge your Lunge ability. Also I was hoping to take a bigger piece out of Stryker than in the movie, but oh well.

The final boss in Mass Effect 2. It was seriously disappointing, and some of the things it did were simply ridiculous. I was not happy.
Agreed. I still can't see the purpose it would actually achieve if it was completed - how the hell would it fly through space? pretend to swim?

OT: Fable 2 was very anti-climactic

Far Cry. At the end you have to take down about 12 of those big meat thingies that have bazookas for arms plus some invisible mutants as well. After going through this for the 111th time, you shoot the bad guy once and he's dead.

borderlands, and gears of war 2.
i mean seriously? scorge died because he fucking fell off his damn mount? the grand high doodah of the locust hord died because he was fucking jar jar binks style clumsy? fuck that
raam was 500times better, at least he use a damn twin linked fixed gun emplacement as a side arm and had mad vampire bats as a bullet proof shield that could tear you to shreads in an instant!

Viking Total Warrior, Hel was the worst boss I have ever in my opinion. It actaully ruined the game for me.

I don't think anyone has said this, which is suprising, but assassins creed 2, it's a punch up with a fat bloke in a dress. Once you knock him down to half health you can grab hold of him, removing what little difficulty there already was, and plus, it's a fat man, how can I take it seriously?
You get to punch the Pope. THE POPE!

(but yes, it was a bit silly, and then everything after was rather dreadful.)

From a difficulty perspective Murai at the end of Ninja Gaiden 1, he can easily kick the shit out of you in the first stage but now you can just spam flying sparrow and he won't block it which is odd because most previous bosses could.

From a story perspective Duke from Tales of Vesperia, His fight was okay but he shouldn't have been the final boss, they should have fired the weapon at the Adephagos(sp) then had to fight part of its weakened form. Not this clash of ideas bull crap Duke. I wouldn't have minded fighting Duke but not as the final boss.

Last boss of Assassins Creed 2 was pretty poor, though overall I enjoyed the rest of the game.

The boss to the 2008 Prince of Persia, because it wasn't even a fight. It was pathetic, and it lead to literally the worst ending I've ever seen in a game.
Oh yeah totally agree with ya. The dlc to that game is no different.

I tend to find that most RPGs I play, my characters are so pimped out by the end, that final bosses are an after thought. None more notable to me than the last boss in Skies of Arcadia: All you have to do is spam focus until Vyse can do his ultimate attack and Fina brings everybody to life with full health. When I beat the boss after a couple of minutes of blowing off god-moves all four of my characters were at full health. That all being said, it's still up there in my top RPGs of all time.
