Well, since The Xbox is getting exclusive Fallout new vegas DLC, Its nice to see some support that kicks dirt in microsofts face for a change.

Generally speaking from what I've seen explosions do tend to look better on the PS3 and ME2 certainly has a lot of them.

Wait, they refitted ME2 with the ME3's engine? That sounds like allot of unnecessary work... Though, I guess it's nothing more then a "Windows Update" sort of thing in the U3 engine.

Sounds cool, either way. I'm kinda curious how this "ME3" engine revision for PS3 ME2 looks in comparison to the ME2 PC version.

Flame wars are alive and well, just today, Bethesda announced new dlc for New Vegas that's 360 exclusive(for now imo) and ps3 owners are pissed saying ps3 is better and stuff. As far as this game goes though, I'm happy that others can share my joy.
I'm surprised people still get mad over that, though maybe because I just can't recall any multiport game that did not later release it for the PS3.

Hell, they did the same thing with Fallout 3.

I'm going through the XBox version of ME1 (I finished ME1 on the PC before going into ME2) and with the way that I play (more squad based rather than shooter) I prefer the PC version.

So when ME2 comes out for PS3, I'll talk a friend into getting it just so I can take a look at that comic. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

And when ME3 is released, I'll pick up the PC version. It's tailored more for my style.

I don't see why this should incite a flame war. What with how long the Playstation crowd has had to wait for this game to be released, I'd be pissed if they didn't try to make up for it.

Urgh... I thought these stupid wars were over. Anyways the best game ever Crash Team Racing has already been released. xP

OT: As a PS3 owner this is some pretty sweet news, and it's always nice to see developers not take sides in the Cold Console War.
The only thing I won't be partaking in is the comic since I'm determined to buy ME1 for my PC.
You could always play it on the PC, and make the choices in the comic to mirror how your playthrough went. Sounds like a neat feature.

Few things in the game industry are as pathetic as the console wars. I understand that people want to feel like they picked the best console, but the sheer scope of the hate, arguments and whining around that desire is ridiculous.

It makes sense that the PS3 version would be better; it's being released with technology they didn't have when they released the 360 version. People should be happy that a great game is getting some more exposure, not offended and defensive and in denial.

Ah well, one can dream.

Considering I found no real flaws in ME2, I couldn't care less. An interactive comic is no substitute for playing the first game, and PS3 owners should be insulted that they thought it would be.

So, Bioware and Valve are both twats. Inciting flamewars for the sake of it is bloody stupid, and makes people less willing to buy their game on the affected console. But at least Bioware will be correct, this has all the patches and DLC. Still, very stupid comment.

I thought it is common knowledge that the PS3 has better hardware than the XBOX, so I don't quite understand why this is not obvious and such an issue with players.

I don't know if this was your intention, but you come across as INCREDIBLY entitled here. Bioware never had to release the game on PS3, it was originally conceived as an Xbox 360/PC exclusive. What they're doing here is VERY generous.

This flame war is just stupid. I myself prefer Xbox 360 over PS3 but I'm happy that Bioware released it for the PS3. Everyone should experience it imo. And does it really matter that PS3 owners get an updated game with DLC? It isn't a different game. Xbox owners still have the privilege of ME1 and all the refences in the second game(I mean random characters and all that).

PS. the picture isn't that bad. It's just frickin' funny.

The most significant choices, sure.

But I liked how the game referenced the little ones on occasion. Like with Helena Blake and others.

You'll get the gist of the story, and the choices, at least.
^This really. But I think it's better anyhow to make the decisions through gameplay rather than a interactive comic but oh well, that may be just me.
