Not a fan of DA2, huh?Susan Arendt said:Stunned. Stunned, I am, by this news.
This may be true, but in all the honesty, the voice work was utter shit for Oblivion. Don't get me wrong, it was an awesome game, but terrible voice work. Sean Bean's part was the only plus.cursedseishi said:And Auxilary, voice work doesn't take up that much space, be honest here. Hell Origins had more than a good chunk of voicework done, and yet it still had a varied environment. It was just lazy hacked together design. Hell, the Elder Scroll games have voicework too, and they somehow manage to be rather massive.
Ahahaha. Ahahaha ahaha. Aha. (I hope you noticed the sarcasm by the way). Seriously, if you don't like the game, by all means, tell us about it. But please don't try to be funny when you're not. It's annoying.Xanthious said:Man what's that smell? Someone step in something out in the yard? Wow, that REALLY stinks! Seriously, what the hell is that? Did someone pinch off a deuce and not flush? Go check. Jesus, that's fucking rancid what the hell is that? Oh? What? You said Bioware announced another Dragon Age title? Ahh that explains it. Nothing to be done for it I suppose. No way to get the stink off that franchise . . . .
Loved it, actually. I was being sarcastic. I'm not at all surprised that they're going to continue the franchise, building on the new foundation that DA2 created.GrizzlerBorno said:Not a fan of DA2, huh?Susan Arendt said:Stunned. Stunned, I am, by this news.
OT:I have NO problems with until and UNLESS they reveal any plans to release it ANY sooner than Holiday 2013. Read that Carefully Bioware: Holiday 2013; NOT 2012.
I feel DA carries over as main story the canon playthrough which is fine as long as it's good. Having to make the story as complex as the whole lot of options you are allowed will lead to dead ends. Like killing Leliana would lead to Varric not beeing forced to tell Hawke's story or beeing searched for whatever reason DA3 will be about. A way to fix that is to limit your actions to unkillable npcs etc but people would be more outraged about that rather than havong the game continue a canon story.Woodsey said:I'm hoping this won't be a direct sequel, but I'm guessing it will be in at least some respect given the sequel-bait ending. The one that made no sense for a lot of people.
If my Warden sacrificed himself, and then a completely unrelated person disappears from public life 10 years later, how is that in any way "not a coincidence"?! At least I wasn't one of the ones who killed Leilana and then had her turn up I suppose.
Their next tweet needs to be "btw, we fired Mike Laidlaw."Xanthious said:Man what's that smell? Someone step in something out in the yard? Wow, that REALLY stinks! Seriously, what the hell is that? The phrase "fuck that" comes to mind. All they'd have to do with the ending is replace Leilana with a new character as Cassandra's boss.Cenequus said:I feel DA carries over as main story the canon playthrough which is fine as long as it's good. P.S why would anyone kill leliana anyway dammit
Which foundation? The lazy reuse of the same dungeon over and over? The "When you press a button something awesome has to happen" nature of the combat? The complete and total removal of anything that might be considered strategic combat? Maybe the mobs that appear out of thin air just to be an excuse to artificially and lazily make combat seem harder? Possibly the total lack of being able to customize your supporting characters armor? Maybe that killer plot that ultimately involves you kicking it in the same lifeless city for the entire game?Susan Arendt said:Loved it, actually. I was being sarcastic.
