Both the body and the face are wrong, but we've all realised that by now. What gets to me is that even if this was just a random Asari stripper the face would still be wrong, on account of the fact that the average Asari stripper is probably in her 70s.

And I also wish people would stop throwing around the term 'Bishojo' like it's some kind of defence. It just means young, pretty girls. But because there's a single Japanese word for it, well, now it's an art style!

I like those japanese cartoons and I like sex effect. This is the perfect marriage between the two for me. It's a good piece of art and I don't care what anyone thinks.

That's less Liara and more a support for a giant pair of boobs.

Seriously, that really doesn't look like her.

....That's supposed to be Liara? Hell, I get that it's in a very different art style than Mass Effect's, but christ, that has almost no resemblance to the character in question. Needless to say, I don't really approve. I get what they're trying to do, but....I don't know, it just doesn't seem to go with Mass Effect that well. Space strippers, Jack not wearing clothes and Samara's granny boobs aside, it really doesn't even have any revealing female costumes, either. This whole thing just comes of as weird to me.

It fits in with the entire range of their models under that brand. All their Marvel and DC are the same.

Hopefully they do it, but they also do some nice realistic versions, like their star wars range

just remember, her mother, matriarch benezia, had a hell of a rack on her. perhaps as asari age, their breasts get larger, maybe she's just at the point where she's finally filling out.

EDIT: her mother also had a moustache, so lets hope THAT'S not part of the asari aging process as well...

I love Liara and I'd buy a figurine of her in a heartbeat. Only, this isn't Liara. I'm ok with the pose, I can also look past the upgrade in bust size, it's the face that bugs me, Liara is cute enough not to need a moe look.
And this coming from a manga/anime/JRPG fan.

Are we all agreed here that Liara (and in fact, her entire race) was designed to be sexy and appeal to males in particular? If so, I don't really see the problem.

And falling over. I like tits as much as the next guy, but putting 2 balloons in there and inflating them as far as they will go, then squeezing them between her arms so that it doesn't seem physically possible to remain upright doesn't really strike me as "attractive". Neither does that face, which was apparently modeled after a 12 year old.

boooooooooooooooooooooooooooobs....

*shakes head* OK.... think straight for a second...

This thing doesn't look a THING like her, the face is so generic and 'pretty...'
Sure if you're gonna make a generic thin, hot, 90% boob-by-Bodymass (or BbB as i call it) then its a complete success...
But if you're aiming to make a Liara model, Epic... Fail...

Anyway, where was i... boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

its pretty pathetic that nowadays the only way to make girl seem sexy is make huge 95% revealing boobs, camel-toe tight clothing or very little of it and stupidly high heels!

Should come with the following disclaimer:

Statuette is known to inexplicably topple over, from time to time.
