I like the look of them but it's not enough to make me buy Cataclysm when it lands.....think my WoW time has reached it's end.

I suppose this is fair, since we got the blood elves last time, but I really don't want to play a goblin. They're just... annoying. Like gnomes, but worse. Also, how did they get across so many parts of Azeroth in Cataclysm? They even ruined a small section of Orgrimmar! Who allowed this?!?

It's Fur-tastic!

That being said, Good for them. I guess. More good vs evil imbalances though, as no one really wants to be a goblin. It's pretty bad at this point.
What, really? Horde outnumbers Alliance on both my servers.
If I remember rightly the Horde were badly outnumbered years ago. Probably levelled out since then though, as such things tend to do if the game's balanced properly.

What do you guys think? Do you like how the female Worgen look? Are you more or less likely to create one now?
What do I think?
WHAT DO I THINK?

I think it's a f******g disgrace to Werewolf-fans across the world.
They've thrown away the classic awesome Worgen model to replace it with a f******g kitty-kat.
This pisses me off to no end. If I ever thought of getting Cataclysm just for the sake of it, THIS is what finally pulled the straw.

That is not a Werewolf, nor is it a Worgen.
Just No.
Not seeing the cat, man. It's pretty canine to me.

Really?
Let me show you it.

You should see now from where exactly the Female Worgen gets it's look from.

Definitely looks more like the bottom than the top. Only similarity is the short hair, and they'll have longer hair in-game.

...
There is nothing I can say constructively as a response.
It's just bad that you don't want to see it since it's as obvious as a clear day >_>

All they've done is pulled out the nozzle.
If you really wanted to see what people think of first, try showing the images to people who haven't seen them before without telling them what it is, and see what they say.
I do agree they look a lot more canine than feline.
Those very much look like pre-development pictures[footnote]The "Work in Progress" along the side kinda gives it away.[/footnote], the ones where ideas are drawn up to see what they look like, and like all ideas, are subject to tinkering until they hare happy with it. Remember that is might not be the final design, and it might end up looking better once they are actually in-game than just as isolated models. They have to blend in with what's already present.

Why does it have breasts?!?!
Werewolves[footnote]"Were" translates as "man", or near enough at least. So it's technically manwolf, or something...[/footnote] are a mix of man and wolf are they not?

If I were to quote all of the references to furries made so far in this news post, this post alone would take up a normal comments page. I think.

OT: They don't actually look that bad, though I'm in agreement with the people who say that they should be more feral. Wasn't the point of them being an utter contrast to the rest of the Alliance races? They look way too elegant. Although that might be a good thing after all. We shall see, I imagine.

That's what they said about the Male Blood Elves and look at what we ended up with there <_<
I don't admit to knowing anything about World of Warcraft, just saying that they might look better in-game rather than in isolation. Not saying they haven't made mistakes before. Though of course I haven't really seen an in-game male Blood Elf, so I don't have an opinion on that.

It's so horrible it makes me want to puke.

It's a Draenei female with gray skin, a lion head, dog muzzle, and eye shadow.

Meh, looks to be almost too similar to female draenei model. It looks like the only difference is the head, hands and feet.

I'm more interested in the mechanics for thier "form switching".

Can I do everything in human form? In which case, who else will be rolling a Worgen for thier racials and then spending all thier time in human form?

Human druid, huzzah!
When you enter combat, you automatically shift to your Worgen form.

Hell, i'm just looking forward to looking around the victorian-esque Gilneas.

Also, i think the Draenei are meant to be Indian, rather than Russian.

Looks like they're re-using the Draenei skeleton and animations at the moment, but aside from that, would prefer them to make them look a little more feral, seem a bit too clean cut at the moment.

Almost remind me of Egyptian style cat people, which is weird.
hmm, yea that's a good call, they do seem a bit egyption almost.

And here I thought that they were opening up all classes to all races. I guess I heard wrong, though I gave up on warcraft a long time ago.

YOu have to fight as worgen.
It auto transforms you into worgen when you enter combat.
