I will rather Blizzard do it.ImprovizoR said:If Valve doesn't Blizzard will. I would let Valve handle DoTA before Blizzard any day. Valve will make free stuff for it, Blizzard would make you pay for everything. Valve just has a better community. Maybe it's not the right thing to do if you concentrate on the moment. But it's the best thing and future will show that Valve is right to do this.
"Blizzard DotA" is a free Map for sc2. Blizzard release ton of free patch and content for thier games. But Valve are the people that add Micro-transaction to a full paid game (TF2). I don't trust that at all. If it is purely for the looks than yea, but items that effect game play is in it as well.
Blizzard will never do that. why? If WoW let player buy shadowmorue, people will smash the company down to peices. Believe me, I know a lot of WoW Players. If you don't believe me ask that in any WoW forum.
On the other hand, Blizzard is going to release 4 new maps(Blizzard DotA, Auir chief, left 2 die, starjewelled) for Sc2 for free, and they have a long trad of doing so, since WC3. They already release like 50+ map (a lot of them are different game modes, like DotA-like map) for WC3 for free in addtion to the patches.
Ironic that you say "Valve will make free stuff for it, Blizzard would make you pay for everything." When the Mann Co. is selling gameplay items.
edit: I'm usually a fan of both company, maybe I'm a bit too hard on Valve because that the Mann Co. in TF2 really piss me off. I mean I pay full price for TF2, yet you add a micro-transaction after I buy the game? If you tell me when I bought the game I'm more ok with it but this is just...
