Instead of reading books lately, I've made one instead. A vast, superior understanding from trials & errors and great understanding for the English language have allowed me to create something... Interesting, to say the least.

Still, I've been reading Selected Tales of Edgar Allan Poe whenever I've could.

You know, books? They are made of paper
I used to have some of those. Now the only paper books I own are RPGs or sheet music.

Currently reading Sandman Slim. Only a few pages in because I just started after finishing another book. Hounded, by Kevin Hearne, in cast it matters.

In the middle of The Painted Man (Warded Man in the US) by Peter V. Brett.

It's actually pretty decent, despite no real plot forming for a good portion (I'm 200 pages in, and it has 543 pages). Honestly, I like it because it has characters and we get to see them having experiences in life, thus getting to know not only them, but the world they live in.
Friend of mine keeps telling me I should read that. One of these days, I suspect I will.

Song of Ice and Fire: Storm of Swords - Part 1

I've really enjoyed this series after picking up the first book last year, and it actually got me more interested in books. So interested in fact, that I now have a pile of about 9 books which I need to read through.

I think I may have an addiction now...

I'm reading Fallout: Equestria [http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/04/story-fallout-equestria.html#more] for the third time, and I've just started reading On the Origin of Species. Recently, I read QED by Richard Feynman, The Quantum Universe by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw, and Professor Ian Stewart's Hoard of Mathematical Treasures. I'm also lazily working my way through Mort and Soul Music, both by Terry Pratchett.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman was the last book I read. It's pretty good, all about various gods from around the world trying to survive in modern America, and competing with the 'new' gods of technology, media, etc. I intend to hit the bookstore later in the week though, as books are my primary method of delaying my inevitable shooting spree.
American Gods is one of my favorite books. If you haven't read it yet, pick up Neverwhere by Gaiman.

I'm about halfway through George R.R Martin's A Feast for Crows at the moment. Not liking it as much as the previous books in the series, but we'll see what happens.

The book I'm currently reading is called Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis. Excellent book, well researched, and presents some strong arguments for never eating anything made with wheat ever again. I knew wheat was bad for you in general going in and could make it very difficult to lose weight for those trying, but he presents studies linking it to various conditions I wasn't even aware of, and also presents the stories of just some of the thousands of patients he's seen who have given it up and seen dramatic transformations in their body and their health. Cool stuff, and I highly recommend it.

I got Scroobius Pip's Poetry In (e)Motion today, about to get started on it.

Scroobius Pip is a British hip-hop/spoken word artist and it's a book of a selection of his poetry with illustrations from artists he recruited through MySpace. Pretty interesting, I'd recommend giving his stuff a listen.

The reason why it's featuring specific characters, and entirely missing out other ones we know and love is because he wrote chapters for all those characters, then had to cut it down. That became A Dance With Dragons. It says so at the end of A Feast For Crows.

Personally, I thought it was very good.

Physical copies of books: Complete works of William Shakespeare, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass, Hannibal

Digital books: ummmm I'm still downloading a bunch of free books so that I can read them on my laptop whilst I walk on the treadmill in my room.....I have to have something to look at whilst exercising...might as well be a book...even if it is a digital copy......

Currently reading "The Gildar Rift" by Sarah Cawkwell in my free time. A Space Marine Battles novel; so far it's a bit underwhelming.
As for books I have no choice in reading, I'm currently up to my knees in the verbose hormone storm that is "Romeo and Juliet".

Aha, that makes sense. It would be one colossal book if they were combined. I find it interesting to get some new viewpoints but I'm having a hard time getting invested in the chapters that deal with mostly random characters we see once or twice. The pace is also a lot slower than the other books, in my opinion. It isn't bad, just... different.
