Well at least they realized it was just a mistake by the shop owner. I was half expecting to see another debate over censorship and crud.

I can't quite wrap my head around her train of thought. So, her first instinct upon finding nudity in a comic strip is to tell the media? Why? I don't understand.

Alright, so being 10 he may not care about the tits (cartoons don't do it for me anyway) but what sort of 10-year-old boy turns down ultra violence?!
A ten-year-old from Utah?

Her reaction probably caused a whole segment on "Exposing our children to violence" and people with more morals than brain cells got their panties up in a bunch before they forgot about it the very next week.

On a side note: Spectre was an okay comic.

Something of a slip up on the store's part but, you have to wonder, what was the thought process that led to the mom going to the local news over this. What words passed through her internal monologue? Is it actually news that a comic book might contain some nudity or violence? Wasn't "Seduction of the Innocent" published 50 years ago?

Urgh... Just, urgh... You people...

So what happened here? An adult comic book was being sold as family friendly? Whoever's responsible deserves a lawsuit.

Can anyone tell me what team jersey the stepfather is wearing? I want to say Bucs..

OT: This is funny. The kid should've kept it.

Mmmmkay, first look at the cover.

Note how the ten year old boy wasn`t expecting graphic violence.

I definitely don`t believe you, kid.

In the video, he stated that he didn`t even see that, he opened it and instantly `saw naked ladies and got mad` before giving it to an adult.

You have to understand Ogden Utah is right next to Salt Lake City which is the heart of Mormon country. To them that shit is offensive.
true... since i do live in utah and even then i find this shit stupid and not even worth telling the news...
not that I'm saying this story is news worthy (tis not), but if you also live here, then you should know that EVERY BLOODY DAY is a slow news day...they needed 5 minutes filled, and they had an angry soccer mom. of course they rolled with it

Oh, for God's sake, it's Utah. Where people put tourniquets on the fun bits at birth like docking a Rottweiler's tail to make them shrivel and fall off so they won't have any un-Mormon-like thoughts.

I suspect Zombie Frederic Wertham will be rising from the grave any minute now.

I used to buy comics from the comic shop for the sole purpose of pictures of girls. True story.

The boy's mother is to blame for this, not the kid or the comic book store.
She should check what she buys for her son.
