Obfuscates? Vampires the Masquerade much? Or do you just have a taste for Obfuscated Language yourself?
Obfuscate means to blur or ambiguize the truth. Much of those VtM terms were around long before the game was created.
yes I know, but it's an unusual word, and I was curious on the origin of his familiarity with it, as I thought my secondary commentary made clear.

Did you just quote the entire article just to quiz me about a single word?
You bet your ass I did.

Fair enough. To answer your original question, it's a little bit of both.

Why have my instinct told me that it was "The Sun" that was involved by just looking at the title of the article?

I hate the British media. Not just The Sun; all of them are lying bastards.
That's a little harsh. We do have Charlie Brooker and... Jeremy Paxman... and... David Mitchell... and a few other semi-truthful people.
I think of those people as the exceptions that prove the rule.

I stopped reading The Sun over half a decade ago. It's just full off sensationalized news, sports & porn.

Heh, the Sun.

Also, I first misread this as 'crickets', and I had no idea what the fuck was going on.

You are quite right sir. According to the supposed "crazy hobo" that lives in the alley near the local Rite Aid told me that. He's actually Romulos Al Veratti, Space-and-time traveler Extraordinaire. He told me how copies of "Jurassic Park" was accidentally sent back in time, along with several hundred million barrels of oil, generators, game consoles, and TVs, to the age of dinosaurs. In several short years all that CO2 smog coated the earth, causing the Ice Age, and the dinosaurs started emulating the games by killing each other with the guns that also got sent back.

Also explains why gas prices are so high nowadays!
Romulos Al Veratti is just his cover name, he's actual name is Zher Ak'Tohr, you know

my neighborhood's butcher has been chasing him down since the XXIXth century's Moscow...

apparently, Zher Ak'Tohr was in charge of the storing of the vintage items and shit

if I were you I'd be careful around that guy

You're correct, Murdoch does indeed own the sun.

I hear he's in talks to buy the moon ,)
May he has severe dementia and has demanded that they print "stories" he believes are correct, and they do it because he only hires Yes Men.

Why aren't you guys reporting about the zombie Abe Lincoln seen with Obama mentioned in that other tabloid newspaper?
