Buffy's Hubby Joins Mass Effect 3 Cast

I like that the actor actually has enthusiasm for the game and has actually played the previous ones (unlike every other ME VA).

I hate his character, though. Terrible design, terrible writing. He seems like a decent VO, but Bioware is just making him my Carmine: ME3 Edition.

Though, with my squad consisting of Liara and Garrus constantly, I doubt it'll make any difference.

Additionally, this is the same Commander Shepard that got into a fist fight with a Yahg right? That bigass thing that he totally wrecked the shit out of?
How the hell is James Vega going to be more punchy than that?

But Shepard got decisively knocked on his arse every time he went toe-to-toe with the Yahg.

Missing the point there. He held his own when he did, and forced it to use his shield thingy whenever close quarters happened. What I'm saying is that Vega will not be able to do/say the same. Or maybe I'm just really sour about him not being a masked Spaniard as previously mentioned.

Dude. I would buy this game twice if it had Mark Hamill. As a krogan. Punching Freddie Prinze Jr.'s character. In the soul. With his quad-testicles.

Meh, he seems wholly un-interesting.

Then again, so did most of your crewmates in ME2, and they were actually pretty interesting.

Then again again, Bioware said he's essentially here so people new to the franchise had someone to relate to. And so they could have someone ask the questions we all know already. Though that begs the question, who would get into a series on the third game? Anyone who's interested in the serious would have already played 1 and/or 2, and anyone not interested will simply be, well, not interested.

Very exciting news I am looking forward to this character, and how Freddie Prince Jr. voices him.

From the gameplay videos on youtube, and what little we see of him, he seems like a good guy.

Everyone hating on Freddie Prinze Jr ... Go watch 24 season 8. Like, right now. Then come back and acknowledge him for the great actor he is.

Also, Psych Season 5, Episode 3 - "Not Even Close... Encounters". The guy has a sense of humour about himself, I actually quite like him.


And; sod you all, the Wing Commander movie moves clean through "bad", "terribad", and "so bad it's funny" and lands right on "so terribad it's hilarious".

Yeah. Though to be fair, any franchise with Mark Hamil is inherently worse when he is not a part of the equation.

Well, maybe that's not completely fair. How about this: Once you have added Mark Hamil to a franchise, you can never remove him from the franchise without decreasing it's quality rapidly.

Aye, and with what the article said about his character, I'm uninterested. If I wanted someone who values brawn over brains, I got Grunt, if I want someone who has both, I'll take Wrex. I don't need a Jersey System reject in my team.

If you pay attention to what he says in the trailer during the spar with Shepard he actually values doing his job over anything else. He chose to save data on the collectors over saving his friends/comrades.
To me he seems more interesting than a few of the characters we have already seen.

It's funny because he looks so old compared to his earlier years, he could've been a model fro Commander Shepard.

Also they need some kind of Futurama cameo appearance like a cyclops delivery girl or a foul mouth robot. Something besides Seth Green and a washed up 90s actor.

I'm okay with Mr Prince purely on the his use of the word henchman (HENCH4LIFE) but why did they make the character look like a steroid addicted bulldog chewing a wasp.?
