Interesting considering the amount of speculation towards whether Ancient Egypt has any kind of link to extraterrestrial visits...I'm liking the sounds of this.

My prediction/hope is that their next game will be a space-sim shooter type game ala something similar to Starfox or Battlefront II's space battles. The space section in the Halo: Reach mission "Long Night of Solace" was really fun. I bet Bungie could make something amazing if they built off of that.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how can a company copyright part of a countries mythology/religion? Copyrighting Osiris would be like copyrighting King Arthur or Robin Hood; me smells misinformation.
As far as Bungie is concerned, I don't think they would recognise a good story if they were at the Guild of Bestest Writers and there was a display labelled Greatest Story Evarrrrrr Told.

I love how literally some folks are taking this. If you used the same reasoning and heard back in '99 that Bungie's next game after the Myth series used the names "Cortana", "Covenant", and "Halo", you'd have concluded that it'd be a strategy game playing out the Song of Roland in the Scottish Highlands or a sword-and-sorcery game set in the days of Moses' Exodus. And you would have been massively wrong.
The truth is that these names tell us very, very little about the upcoming game. Making comparisons (or even conclusions!) based on them is setting yourselves up for some pretty big embarassments when Bungie finally does make an announcement.
