I think they are just squatting themselves. The guys who held MW4 hostage and kidnapped the clown were probably going to make a future warfare game. Activision, seeing this in advance, are holding the domains (and bear on a unicycle) hostage until the cyber-squatters promise Activision CEOs free copies of the upcoming game.

MW2 will be seen in time to be the last of the really good COD games. With all of the talanted people they lost in the last few months, there will be a period of rebuilding within IW and they will struggle to regain the glory they've enjoyed till now.

I don't see how 40K can be related to a game like COD. The concept of 40K and Futuristic Warfare are very different. They're not going to go Starship Troopers 3 with God so 40K isn't really Space Warfare. In fact Space Warfare in 40K is basically 2 huge-ass ships blasting the shit out of each other. As far as I know 40K.

They aren't going to use all of those names, they're just playing it safe. I agree the names are sort of ridiculous but some of those names of yours don't even make sense.

I can safely assume that you meant the names were ridiculous, not that you thought they were going to use all of those names for games?

im a little concerned about this.
If they start making "future warfare" games,theyll do it right! And it'll be popular!
Any other game developer that makes a game set in the present time,will just get shunned for making "old" games.
And everyone will be like "I want the rail gun from future warfare" or something like that.

I'm probably wrong though,this IS just a minor suspicion after all.

OT: I think a futuristic war would be cool. There's not enough solid shooters about space/sci-fi-type warfare. Last one I can remember enjoying was Battlefront 2.
