Censorship is bad. People should be able to say what they want when they want whenever they want. However, if someone is going down the street yelling (im going to censor myself because this is a little over the line) "F*ck the n*ggers, F*ck the jews, and F*ck everyone that's not white!", then they are abusing their rights. Before people like that showed up the world was a great place.
I guess what I'm trying to say is; you have the right to say and do whatever you want, but if you abuse that right... your just an asshole. When you censor things such as swears, your giving them the power to become bad words, if there wasn't any censorship in the world "swear words" would be powerless and would have significantly less of fan impact.
Now as for violance, I don't believe we should censor it for the most part. Action movies and things like that should be okay for younger kids to watch, the worst that happens is some guy gets a shotgun lobotomy. Now, I think that young people should be censored from seeing movies like Hostel, which are just over the top gore fests.
And for sex, I believe that at a young age, the kids should be aware of the human body (if they are in an environment to do so), but shouldn't know what sex is until they are a bit older. Again, if they know of the human anatomy, when they get older all of that stuff will have significantly less power over them.
And for the soccer moms that get angry when little Billy hears the word "Fuck" in his music...screw off! You're the reason why when kids get older, they abuse their rights to swearing and stupid shit like that.
