I don't understand the meme of wanting a girl to sit on your face. Having a girl sit on your lap is a million times better.
They're practically a fetish for everything those days. So it's not that surprising.

I basically spent most my Sunday taking a driver's class online so I would not get a point on my driving record. Thankfully I passed it. But 4 hours my freaking ass. Morer like 6 hours. I had to take the exam four times and I finally passed.

Okay.....NOT talking about politics.

I'd finally gotten good and ready, both emotionally and materially, to get some important home improvement taken care of this and last week, then our power went out due to high winds last monday night. So that sucked, but we got it back the next morning. Then the haze outside from the wildfires got worse and has stayed worse and it's still unhealthy to go outside, so even getting out to tend the yard or just take a walk(which has been my go to physical activity since covid hit) is out. Everything is on hold because I don't want to schedule any new appointments or do any major home improvement until we know the smoke is down to safe levels.

That's not even getting into the dread associated with all the political/social stuff right now or feeling we're starting down the oncoming train that is climate change barreling towards us.

I want to make a joke about the Yellowstone supervolcano or massive West Coast Earthquake due for december but at this rate it feels like it would happen just because the Earth fucking hates us.

The earth is just retaliating for all the sins and pollution humanity has accumulated over centuries.

That's what it feels like. And nobody in charge either recognizes this is a problem or wants to do anything about it, what it feels like.

Because they're not the people who will actually suffer any real consequences from it, so why should they care?

Why, in the middle of this pandemic, do people still have time to be pissy and frustratingly snarky with me at my job when I'm just trying to do said job? Of course when we don't have things NOW NOW NOW or we gotta limit certain things we sell people still gotta give me SO MUCH FUCKING ATTITUDE about it. It's so infuriating! I'm super happy I'm transferring departments because being a cashier right now is downright miserable and I keep getting brought to the edge of throwing my work apron down and walking out

I am convinced we need to apply a federal compensation benefit for all employees in the US that are forced to deal with the general population. Maybe call it " The forced to deal with assholes" standard increased wage benefits or tax credit. They just need to give people more money + a guaranteed paid vacation for even having to interact with the general public at all.

In a sick way I actually like this toxic time, since it makes the younger generation more politically aware and active. People only react when death and destruction is at their doorstep. It shouldn't be like that, but that is human nature in general.

They don't seem to care that it's their own kids that are going to have to pick up the pieces.

BTW I found a clip of my complaint about busses, but yeah I still maintain that bus drivers suck, because they drive like this.
Okay, it's taken years but now I finally see the appeal of Sailor Moon.

While I don't find anything to like about this toxic time, I worry that is too much burden for the future generations to carry and that due to the current political climate, they are receiving too many mixed signals that will actually prevent them from being able to unite and come together to do what is needed to be done by setting the precedent to dismiss anything they do not like to hear as " fake news" so they are far more likely to just ignore and not be bothered and go about their daily business and having fun indulging in celebration of materialism and virtual worlds providing further insulation from the outside world and reality of what is actually happening around them. Zoomers for example no longer get their news from verifiable sources, they get their news from random you tube and twitch streamers who just make up and talk about whatever they want. They know more about drama alert than they know about the need to address ocean acidification. The millennial's elevated commercialism and materialism through people like the Kardashians and other reality TV stars instead of focusing on reducing homelessness. Through the internet they have been able to build " isolation bubbles" where they are not exposed to the daily news and events that are surrounding them and that is only getting worse rather than better. They don't keep the most pressing issues in mind because they don't have to see it at all while they hide away in their air conditioned rooms only exposing themselves to their select media of their choice. How exactly are they supposed to solve any of this if it is " out of sight out of mind" as they blissfully unaware of what else is happening, you know that " stuff other people can deal with that are not me because I have no interest in it so don't come around here bothering me about it".

Everyone seems to think someone Else will step up and take care of the problems because that just brings them down to think about those things and they have things they are more interested in doing instead. It is not one generation with this mindset, it is them all right now. They think " why worry about things I can't do anything about" so no one acts at all. My worry is this is just becoming MORE prevalent, not less with the insulation and ability to completely customize every bit of the information you take in provided by the internet. We are going to need a lot more people actually taking action to be able to address these problems, I just worry about how you get them to do that when they are content staying in their self customized entertainment bubbles.

Dude! It's absolutely hilarious, I'm not even familiar with the English Dub, I watched it in Spanish but Youtube started recommending me clips of the English Dub and I can't stop watching them.
