I think your efforts are commendable.

I am sorry that your sister has such an odd prejudice. (Prejudice in general is bad, but some are harder to disprove.)

I have a suggestion: Ask her why.
Ask her thoroughly and Socratically; poke her beliefs; demand answers, if not now then at some point just think about it.

Investigating peoples beliefs with the Socratic method can solve a lot of problems, and it does not hurt to have statistics ready to disprove their claims.

If you want to bring out the heavy guns, go read up on rationalistic thinking and avoiding mental pitfalls.

That is a direct quote from my (white English) sister as to the reason why she only dates Arabic, African & similar men. She is adamant that white men are going to cheat on their spouse / partner while coloured men will not.

In all seriousness though, where did this stereotype come from? I mean I thought the stereotype (for the few that would still hold it this late in the game) was that ethnicities were coming into our homes and stealing our wimminz and dishonoring them. Either that, or she has an attraction to black people and whatnot (which isn't racist, though it could be a little superficial) which she's having trouble admitting?

I'm black and have never , dated , slept with , kissed or even held hands with a black girl. I don find them attractive , that's all , i'm not going to date them just because we are both black. Is there a reason you don't want her dating a 'colored 'man?( i cant believed, just said colored ). I think OP might be racist without realising it.

What the hell? That's the weirdest reason I've ever heard to date anyone. It also has a bit of whiff of racism about it to me, against whites actually. How faithful you are has nothing to do with race.

I got the idea that it's a bit of a culture amongst young black and Asian guys to see women, particularly white women who their parents may not approve of, as meat, especially due to the portrayal of women in hip-hop culture, which is primarily followed by young black people and a lot of young Asian people.

White consumers make up a larger majority of rap album sales than black consumers.

Liking the music doesn't mean you're wrapped up in the culture, though.

I think he is just trying to say that anyone can cheat. His sister didn't say just she was attracted to black men, she said white men couldn't be trusted and black men could. If she would just admit that she finds darker skin more attractive I don't think we would have an issue, but she said that darker that darker skin makes you an inherently more moral person, and that is a problem.
