It'd be interesting to hear why you hate them, too.

BT = British Telecom. The largest Telco in the UK. The reason I'm boycotting them is because years ago they sent bailiffs round my house to collect on a debt that had nothing to do with me. Basically it was an identity theft case, someone had used my name and opened an account with them. After the way they handled the issue I swore I would never let them get a single pound off me.

RBS = Royal Bank of Scotland. My previous bank account was with NatWest, one of their subsidiaries. Funnily enough my issue with them relates to a fraud case as well, they refused to refund a dodgy credit card transaction and I lost my rag on the phone and moved my bank account elsewhere. Also, they're kind of evil...

I may be wrong but where i live(Iceland), BT is an electronics store that i dont buy from either because of their shitty customer service and being overpriced.

McDonalds, because I hate their food. In Norway, they just throw an old burger in a microwave for 40 seconds. The result? A suop of some fake meat, a horrible pickle, some cheese, some salad and a bit of bread. At every Burger King I've been to, they have actually MADE the burger from scratch

Tyson Foods

One of the largest poultry/beef/pork producers in the world.

Was injured on the job and ended up being fired for it. Goddamned company doctors trying to save the company money. I receive a crippling injury, and I get screwed for it. I'm trying to sue, but most lawyers are skittish about taking on big companies like them, and I don't have a load of cash to throw at a super-pro law team.

Feels bad, man.

I'm boycotting absolutely nothing because unless there's a major coordinated public boycot consisting of hundreds or even thousands of people, these companies won't even notice the loss. One person refusing to use a service or buy from a company isn't boycotting, it's sulking.

I avoid shopping at EB Games. I just think their staff members are retarded, they have very little stock with not much variety, and they're overpriced. I know it's Australia, but still.

I live in Melbourne too. I hate EB with a passion, but more because they have horrendous deals. Did you know that they are the Australian equivalent of Gamestop? They merged with them a couple of years back, and for all intents and purposes, are the same thing. Hungry Jacks / Burger King Scenario.

But on topic:

Apple fanboy all my life, and now I despise their over-priced products (parents stopped buying me stuff!) and paternalistic business practices (stupid app store).

I don't really like actavision, but I don't like COD or any other big things they bring out.

Ummm...the best I can do is the Total petrol station up the road. I put £15 worth in my tank from there last month and wound up draining it all out, flushing my injection system and buying a new set of spark plugs (6) because the petrol (all of it!) was lacking one tiny but rather important property: Combustability!

Yep - even when a naked flame was applied to a rag soaked in the stuff, it would not burn...in fact it put the flame out a few times! Now I go to Esso or BP, depending on wether I am heading to or from work.

Barack Obama just decided to blame us Brits because he has issues over his father and something to do with old British Empire. He's too stupid to realise that the evil British Petroleum is just as American as it is British.

I boycott Orange - they have the worst customer services and tried to charge us for changing to another company after they had said it would be free. Luckily I told them the conversation had been recorded and magically they gave in.

I too, am boycotting Ubisoft, for precisely the same reason. I just can't decide if I am boycotting them completely, or only the games with the DRM that is the reason for the boycott.

None really. Boycotting companies is a little silly. I just don't buy product's i am not interested in. I don't eat in big fast-foods because i find their food to be crap, i don't buy branded clothing because i don't like the designs and am lucky enough to know how to sew myself plus for more complicated projects i got a friend that does it for a living.

When it comes to games i buy what i want to play, i don't care for the name of publisher. I don't buy Activision games only because they don't release anything i'd want to play.

I disagree on EA and Microsoft.

I am fine with EA's Project $10, and beyond what they used to do with DRM (The whole Spore incident), I haven't heard anything negative about them from anyone.

Also, you don't buy form Microsoft or Apple? What're you on a Linux or something? XD *Cough* Anyway, I personally like Microsoft a lot. What've they done that's been bad business?
