I'm boycotting every single games developer/publisher until they make a game I want to buy.

McDonalds, because I hate their food. In Norway, they just throw an old burger in a microwave for 40 seconds. The result? A suop of some fake meat, a horrible pickle, some cheese, some salad and a bit of bread. At every Burger King I've been to, they have actually MADE the burger from scratch o_O
[SUB]Hypocrite, I know.[/SUB]
I hear a lot of people say McDonalds... but mostly 'cos they just don't like their food.

I mean... I dunno'. I don't eat hamburgers anywhere, but I like their chicken sandwiches. <.< They don't seem any different from any other fast food place I've been to.

Tyson Foods

One of the largest poultry/beef/pork producers in the world.

Was injured on the job and ended up being fired for it. Goddamned company doctors trying to save the company money. I receive a crippling injury, and I get screwed for it. I'm trying to sue, but most lawyers are skittish about taking on big companies like them, and I don't have a load of cash to throw at a super-pro law team.

Feels bad, man.

I'm boycotting absolutely nothing because unless there's a major coordinated public boycot consisting of hundreds or even thousands of people, these companies won't even notice the loss. One person refusing to use a service or buy from a company isn't boycotting, it's sulking.

Ubisoft. I have never had good experiences with that company and have not enjoyed very many of their games.

I avoid shopping at EB Games. I just think their staff members are retarded, they have very little stock with not much variety, and they're overpriced. I know it's Australia, but still.
I live in Melbourne too. I hate EB with a passion, but more because they have horrendous deals. Did you know that they are the Australian equivalent of Gamestop? They merged with them a couple of years back, and for all intents and purposes, are the same thing. Hungry Jacks / Burger King Scenario.

But on topic:

Apple fanboy all my life, and now I despise their over-priced products (parents stopped buying me stuff!) and paternalistic business practices (stupid app store).

I don't really like actavision, but I don't like COD or any other big things they bring out.

Sooo.... Apple?

Ummm...the best I can do is the Total petrol station up the road. I put £15 worth in my tank from there last month and wound up draining it all out, flushing my injection system and buying a new set of spark plugs (6) because the petrol (all of it!) was lacking one tiny but rather important property: Combustability!

Yep - even when a naked flame was applied to a rag soaked in the stuff, it would not burn...in fact it put the flame out a few times! Now I go to Esso or BP, depending on wether I am heading to or from work.

Wardy
PS Don't give me shit about buying fuel from BP.
Nah, I'm not gonna' give you shit for that, though I know they caused that oil spill.

I mean, I hate almost all of the oil companies, the problem is that I fucking need gas. Dx I live in America, man, there is nowhere I can just walk to, I NEED to drive, and that means I NEED gas. x_x
Wasn't that oil spill caused by shoddy American workmanship while working under contract and not adhering to industry safety rules? Barack Obama just decided to blame us Brits because he has issues over his father and something to do with old British Empire. He's too stupid to realise that the evil British Petroleum is just as American as it is British.

I boycott Orange - they have the worst customer services and tried to charge us for changing to another company after they had said it would be free. Luckily I told them the conversation had been recorded and magically they gave in.

Ubisoft...total boycott until they remove their good for nothing DRM...

Either that or just pirate their DRM protected titles just to piss them off and prove that they are only fueling piracy.
I too, am boycotting Ubisoft, for precisely the same reason. I just can't decide if I am boycotting them completely, or only the games with the DRM that is the reason for the boycott.

None really. Boycotting companies is a little silly. I just don't buy product's i am not interested in. I don't eat in big fast-foods because i find their food to be crap, i don't buy branded clothing because i don't like the designs and am lucky enough to know how to sew myself plus for more complicated projects i got a friend that does it for a living.

When it comes to games i buy what i want to play, i don't care for the name of publisher. I don't buy Activision games only because they don't release anything i'd want to play.

I disagree on EA and Microsoft.

I am fine with EA's Project $10, and beyond what they used to do with DRM (The whole Spore incident), I haven't heard anything negative about them from anyone.

Also, you don't buy form Microsoft or Apple? What're you on a Linux or something? XD *Cough* Anyway, I personally like Microsoft a lot. What've they done that's been bad business?

McDonalds (Horrible products)
Hesburger (Local Finnish fastfood brand)
MAC (Over priced fashion products, not for me dear sir)
YLE "Finnish Broadcasting Company" "Finland's national broadcaster" (They demand you to pay the TV-license even if your TV can't watch TV/Digi TV broadcast, and sometimes they demand you to pay the license even if you dont have TV. Sometimes the inspectors come to your house demand to have look around for TV that can view the broadcast and if you don't let them they write you double fee from the License. You don't have to pay it but they keep sending them, they are not government officers and law doesn't demand you to pay it but it can have negative effect on your payment history. And love of god they demand 450 euros from a student that lives with the student money that is 250euros a month...
All those Dammed XBOX/PS3 I am PS user and will stay as one.

That's all I think...

do you want Microsofts bad business in an alphabetical or order of events.

like look at it they pay other (3rd party) studios (rockstar, infinityward) to hold back content to other consoles, in my mind that is playing dirty they are using the fact they have insane amounts of money as a tool of leverage.
like look at halo they stole that off Mac just look Steve jobs already shown it them *boom* Microsoft jumps in and buys it out for the xbox

(excuse any grammar mistakes)

The iPod Nano 1 was alright, it went with me to construction and took quite the abuse and last until the battery finally died down to about 2 hours on full charge.

I moved on to cheaper mp3 players though, many of them offer better features.

Nothing. The whole idea of a boycott is stupid. If a game isn't worth my money, I won't buy it.

My Dell is awesome. I wish I had bought a Zune. I bought an iPod a while back, and while it worked, I could not figure out how the fuck to get new music onto the POS without deleting any music I had added previously. Like, say I had 30 songs, and then added 15 new songs, it would add the 15 and delete the 30. It pissed me off. I'm pretty good with computers, so I was infuriated with iTunes shittiness.

Fuck Apple, PC products and accessories from now on.
