Red Hot Chili Peppers at Ricoh Arena, Coventry. Incredible concert. Only cut my chin on the shoulder of the little guy in front of me when he started manicly bouncing during 'By The Way' lol

Dropkick Murphys at First Avenue in St. Paul. Walked out with only a gash on the side of my head.
I've been told their not that good live. what'd you think of them?

Anyway, it was Flogging Molly. They do a bloody good job at livening up the crowd, and the lead singer is a great guy. I left with a pick and a t-shirt, didn't spend a single dollar.

I went to A flogging Molly concert about half a year ago and during the show I threw my shirt onstage, the lead singer picked it up and put it on the guitar stand. After the song, I got the bassists attention and pointed at the shirt. He pulled me up onstage and gave me a hug, and said "grab anything you want". Although I couldn't muster up enough courage to grab a guitar, I got my shirt back, a few autographs on the setlist, and some towels.

Great time

First concert was probably some hardcore show back in my hometown. The mall there would open up the arcade after hours, free games while the show was on. Greaaaaat times.

First real concert, well, rather embarassing... Nickleback, Three Doors Down, some other bands. It was free and I got sprayed with beer, probably the best part of the show.

Since then? Ton of hardcore shows... Also, Brand New x2, Ok Go x3, Spill Canvas, Flogging Molly, Streetlight Manifesto, The Crystal Method, Benny Benassi.

Crap shows too, embarassing as well... Fallout Boy [lame, I know], The Academy Is, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T's.

And Warped Tour once. Saw Thrice [I think?], MCR, Atreyu, Dropkick Murphys, Guff... etc.

Hey, well Streetlight Manifesto is amazing, so it easily makes up for the Nickleback concert, haha.

We Are Scientists supported by The Little Ones and Frightened Rabbit at Oxford Brookes SU. Was pretty awesome because I'd just discovered WAS, bought their debut album, absolutely loved it, looked for any gigs they were doing and lo and behold they were playing about 20 minutes away from me in 3 weeks time. Was a pretty awesome gig, lots of fun, drunk partying students, the band are hilarious anyway, so yeah, was a lot of fun.

Green Day. Mylton Keynes National Bowl, June 2005.

In all honesty, it was fucking awesome. They put on a great show, and everything about it was massive, the crowd, the stage, the sound, everything.

Since then I have been to see several good bands live. I'm also really looking forward to Sonisphere at Knebworth in August. Metallica, Lamb of God, Machine Head, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, and more! Its gonna be amazing :D

Awesome! I went to see Flogging Molly about a year ago, and it was amazing! Everyone really got into it, the whole crowd was moving. I think that their music is even better live than on record, if thats possible :p As that other chap said, they do a fantastic job of making sure everyone gets fired up :D

I didn't get any free shit, but I didn't mind; the concert was well worth the money I paid, anything else would have just been icing on the cake :D

Killswitch Engage, Machine Head & Chimaira back in 2007. It was a good gig but my god the sound was awful!

The best gig I was at was Judas Priest, Megadeth & Testament back in February. It was incredible despite being kicked in the head numerous times.

My first real concert experience... I believe was The Chieftains. Good ol' traditional Irish music.

Since then, acts like: Bob Dylan, Sonny Landreth, Into Eternity, Redemption, Dream Theater, Soilwork, DevilDriver, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage.

I'm going to be seeing a show headlined by Mudvayne, Static-X and Black Label Society this upcoming Friday, too. Wee!

you = my new hero...kind of

I just got tickets to Flogging Molly for a show in October and I am too excited for words. I missed em the last time they came through because of finals and thought they would never be back.
