((It's also worth pointing out that the way international media outlets report on the conflict is in large part down to how American media and the American state choose to frame it)).
Here's where he starts bringing it up. Also, keep in mind that the title of the video is referring to his first guest, the guy talking about the history of the region is his second guest.

Did not expect this would happen. Glad it did - that guy was all too comfortable and gleeful in his disgustingly racist harassment.

But he's sorry, I guess. 🤮
That fucking demonic grin he has throughout the recording of his bullying is hard to forget, let alone excuse. Relishing in their own cruelty with visible glee is chilling for the average person to see, much respect to the poor dude who got him on camera.

He's not throwing a tantrum, he's not enraged, as if telling an amusing anecdote he's threatening the guy's family with having their fingernails removed, and saying 4.000 children killed wasn't enough. And this guy represented the American government. This is the veil being lifted from American foreign policies.

Notably, he was behind Madeleine Albright when she brushed off the death of half a million children and was deputy director of the US State Department’s Office of Israel and Palestinian Affairs for several years.

Hate delivered with a smile is always chillingly psychopathic.

OK-- so the idea is that the description of Israel as an 'apartheid state', as well as the equation of Zionism with racism and fascism, are rooted in old Soviet propaganda?

That's quite a weak argument, to be honest. Zionism is in essence a form of nationalism, and it would be simplistic to say nationalism is necessarily racist. But it's also true that the formulation of nationalism that numerous politicians are pursuing is explicitly drawn along ethnic/racial/religious lines, and aims to exclude others. The so-called 'Nation-State Bill' explicitly ties the state to a single specific ethnic group above all others. It's difficult to conclude that that's not racist in nature.

The government also operates in a manner that is clearly prejudicial against one particular minority group-- affords them less legal and practical protection; subjects them to routine abusive practices by state military and police actors; and pursues illegal thefts and violence against people of a specific minority within the territory it controls. The government also allocates resources prejudicially, depending on whether the recipient is from that minority or not. These are all aspects that we identify as characteristic of an apartheid state when we look at South Africa.

To wit, Soviet propaganda describes Israel in such a way because it is that way. It's always fun to draw conclusions from pointing the causal arrow in the opposite direction.

Just imagine what other "Russian propaganda" isn't actually propaganda, but rather truth contrary to Western oligarchs' economic and political self-interest, and calling it "Russian propaganda" is the narrative generationally normalized, and therefore most likely to be accepted by credulous Western liberals.
