It seems I haven't much insight as to what Erin's "obvious problem" is. But I do like her quotation mark tattoo, fucking awesome Trifoce tattoo and also what seems to be a failed Audi Logo tattoo. Pardon that last one, I have no idea what it's supposed to be.
The third tatoo is from the first Bioshock. It's five links from a chain. The protagonist had it on both wrists.

Would the few of you quit crying about the arc being "too long", "not funny"? When they started it with a new chapter or part to the comic it was implied this would be a more serious tone. For god sake, the poster was her staring down at a glass of scotch or some shit. Let the artists make what they want, nobody is forcing you to read it.
GAH! CRITICISM! Must use poorly formed excuses to make it not mean anything. "No one if forcing you to read it" aha, perfect. Now anytime someone criticizes my work, I have the ultimate defense. Now the people reading my thing should only say good things about it, or nothing at all...brilliant.
Complaining on a few comics is criticism. Coming back every week for 3 months to complain that the arc isn't funny is being an ass. Why the fuck do you keep coming back if you don't find it funny? Because you're hoping it'll get funny? That's about as acceptable a reason for your insipid complaining as "noone is forcing you to read it" is in response to it.
So if something sucks for more than three months then our criticism and opinions mean nothing? Oh that makes perfect sense.
No, you think it sucks. There are plenty of us who have been enjoying it. You are the one who comes back each and every week, knowing it's been unfunny to you, just to complain for the millionth time that it hasn't been funny. You've move far past criticism by this point into complaining for complaining's sake territory. And some of us are getting sick of it. We get it, you aren't finding this arc funny. And I'll ask again, why the fuck do you keep coming back every week if you don't like it? Because it appears to be that you keep on reading it because you want to complain that it's not funny.
Yes, my life is a hollow shell that has no purpose besides complaining...I'm waiting for this arc to be over and hoping that it gets better. It was actually ok before it took a left turn down quality road and I'm checking in every week see if it's dead yet or if the quality has gone back up. Ok? Is that good enough for you? Am I allowed to give my grievances now? Do I have your approval?

Well the majority of people on this website seem to like it so they must be doing something right. There is still comedy, just not video game comedy.
Ah, so if some people like it, other people are clearly wrong for not liking it and criticizing it. Cool.
Nobody said you were wrong, I said they were doing something right by catering to the majority. Your reasons for not liking it are your own but the question is, why do you keep coming back to read it if you dislike it so much?

Difference between proper criticism and saying something is either too long or not funny. One must state why it's not funny or what in particular is taking too long to unfold. You already gave a proper critic in a previous post.
...saying that an arc is taking to long IS a criticism. People get tired of having to deal with the same characters and story arcs over time and they want the arc to die so that they can move on.

Here, read what I mean.

Because as I said before, I'm hoping that the quality will go back up or that this arc will just die already. And even if the majority likes it that's still no reason to ignore all criticism. An artist can still stand to grow and improve his craft even if a fair amount of people like him.

Ah well that's true enough. Alrighty was just something i'd noticed in a lot of these comics and it sort of got under my skin. No hard feelings

I sure hope the guy fights back. Honestly Erin deserves as many punches in the face as he does.

Unfortunately I get the feeling this will be one of those curbstomp fights.

I hope this arc continues until you're no longer a reader.

In the meantime, QQ moar.

Also: Her face in the last panel made me lose my shit.

Pfthehe, classy there pal. "I hope that this work continues to be inconvenient for you because I don't like you, ergo I hope the things you like suck for you"

That's not childish at all.

Seems fair enough so far, but we'll see how this plays out.
Hmmm.....I wonder if he can duck...
No. That would just put her on top of him. Be better if he could block....Probably going to take it right to the face.
Hope Erin has plans for herself after all that.

Wait... She gets drunk and treats him like shit, before then flirting with him and telling him she wants sex. She starts a fight and causes him to carry her home. He dangles her out a window for some "me" time and now shes attacking him.

Am I dumb or is this all just... stupid?
I sure the neighbors called the cops. At least I would if I saw some Aryan hanging his girl friend out a window. No the important lesson here is don't go home with random guys from a bar. If they don't rape you they will probably murder you.

It is kind of stupid that the crazy people are throwing psychology at each other. To be honest not all crazy people think they are crazy so this might be accurate. Maybe she had a moment of clarity and finally realized, "I better GTFO or I'll end up in a chest freezer."

Why would you not attack someone for trying to drop you to death?

"I'm not sure snark can triumph over gravity."

Also, Erin...FUCK YEAH!

With the last couple comics being really good, I'm kind of disappointed to see people still going "END THIS ARCH (sic) !!!!!!11!"

How exactly are you inconvenienced here? The time it took you to read this comic strip couldn't have been more than 20 seconds.

I'm not the one trying to rationalize his bitching and crying by passing it off for constructive criticism (It isn't. It's just you bitching and crying.}

I read this comic a couple times, and people mention that Erin has a mental illness. Is it...like a retardation of some sort? I know she sees video game characters, and talks to them...which is...uhhh...delusional, or schizophrenic...but she also seems to not be a very smart person either. Maybe the guy writing the comic likes his main character to act like erratic spazy headcase with the inability to think? In fact...what the hell was the whole purpose of the inner child? It didn't actually seem to say anything beyond 'Yep, despite your apaprently crippling social and emotional problems, keep acting like an utter moron. It's been doing you so well up to now, you might as well commit to it...'?

Screw this. If I wanted to read comics about obviously insane people, I'd read batman. Imma go read batman.
