Pre Red Alert 3 Apocalypse Tank, it can kill pretty much anything on the ground and in the air
If they had kept the apocalypse tank the same in RA3 it would be the perfect little package with those visuals, the apoc tanks look really nice

I'm afraid I have to do what some other people did and pick one from each game, since despite being in the same genre the units in RTS games and their functions can vary tremendously.

From StarCraft II I have to go with the Dark Templar. While they can be costly to get out and are easily countered, if you can catch your opponent off guard a handful of them can decimate an entire ground army in seconds.

From Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 I'll go with the Mammoth Tank. While I'm not really a Soviet player I have to admit the super heavy tank is just awesome. It can run over OTHER FUCKING TANKS!!

And lastly, from Dawn of War, I have to go with the Dark Eldar relic unit, the Dais of Destruction. I'm a Tau player, but seeing the Dais wipe out an entire infantry army with one use of its ability is just wicked.

Yes! a fellow SupCom player.

OT: I can't belive I am the first to mention the Fatboy. It is a mobile land factory with four triple-barrel artillery guns plus aircraft resupply stations. And it can go under water.

The Fatboy. So you can shell the crap out of your enemy while building your forces.

Oh. And the Mammoth tank. Spesifically the one from Tiberium Wars because it gave us this quote.

"Yea verily, though I charge through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am driving a house-sized mass of "fuck you."

I have to give it to the Kasrkin squad from DoW. They're just dudes with armour and a selection of intersting weapons and grenades fighting off the horrors of the universe...and they're all from London to boot.

(EDIT: also, balls, I was hoping to be undert the post before last)
And they're 'ready for war' before they even leave the command building.

Mine is the Highlanders from AoE3. If you are British and get a saloon which has Highlanders as one of its random units then it will allow a mercenary heavy deck to steamroller almost anything.

THOR IS HERE!

Walking mecha named after the norse god of thunder, voice pretty much made to imitate the terminator himself. Did I mention the hailstorm of AA missiles and the 250mm gun barrage?

SC II top tier terran ground unit in case you didn't know :p

Warcraft III's ice troll mercenaries. Mohawks, backflips, throwing axes, snow puns, great attitude.

Hell, Warcraft trolls in general. "I got axe for you!"

The Kirovs from Red Alert II. "Bombardiers to your stations!" gives me the shivers even now, and when you get a bunch of 'em together with the promotions in place they kick ASS. :D

Mobile artillery from SupCom, think it was called a Mavor or something. It took forever to build but if you did you basically won the game. Also the brawlers and phoenixs from Total Annihilation. Arm rules!

Forgot to add, almost all the units from the original DOW especially the Tau Hammerheads and stealthsuits. Used to love sending a whole army of stealthsuits into a guys base on mp, caught out so many people with that tactic.

I liked the Blood Mage in Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne.
While the Blood Elves in WoW are prissy, feminine idiots, the Blood Mage was more of a scarred man, with the curse of his magic forcing him into infernal magics. The model is well prepared, and my favorite part is the idle 'laugh' animation, showing just how far the once-proud mage's sanity and need for magic has corrupted him.
The voice actor also pulled off a good job, with a good charismatic voice backed with slight tones of madness.
"My blood cries for the vengence of my people's blood, which only be repaid with twice as much blood, or three times as much blood. Like if you went to Hell, and it was full of blood, and that blood was on fire, and it was raining blood! That might be enough, but I hardly doubt it..."

An even gianter robo-spider?

Megalith.

Alright, it's not as cool, but I could't resist saying gianter.

Also: the tech 2 cybran destroyer. It's a ship! It's a mech! It's awesome!

Ultra Zombie Ninja Killer Spanish Space Peasants of One Thousand Megadeths from Hell. From Age of Empires II - The Conquerors.
Imagine your everyday peasant. Cheap, toils away on the fields or chops down forests or mines something. Now include an upgrade for this peasant that makes him/her stronger then your high-level militia, while still costing next to nothing. The Spanish were fucking OP.
