Could you kill a person?

I could. All you need is a reason.....no matter how dumb. Maybe its protecting your love ones from a attacker or not giving a shit because they are jewish (looking towards ww2) all humans need is a reason we can live with. Is why animal lovers dont care if you kill spiders or mice or rats. Depends if we see the person as an equel, or a scum bag that deserves to be kicked out the gene pool.

Honestly I would be more scared and freaked out if I found out I simply couldn't, man that would suck. Not that I actually want to kill a person, currently that is, even if I have the urge to test my limits whenever I have been awake for over 30 hours and see a kitchen knife...

If I really had too. I also believe in consequences in the afterlife, however, this is only if I unnecessarily killed them. If it was in self defense or I would be saving other lives then I could. I probably wouldn't enjoy it, but I wouldn't feel bad. However, if it was just because I, I dunno, got angry and killed someone, then I would feel awful.

To the question of 'could I?' the short answer is yes. The long answer however is that i'm an Aikidoka so if i'm forced into combat, that I will by nature avoid if possible, I will try my best to protect everyone, including the person who's violent action forced me to get involved in the first place. I wouldn't try to kill anyone but in combat accidents happen and if I did kill someone who attacked me or someone else I wouldn't be too broken up about it.

Could I? I like to think so. I would say absolutely, but since I have never been in a situation where I would need or want to, I can't really say.

As for the guilt, I would have no problems. As far as I am concerned, there is no god, no devil and no afterlife, so no worries there.
I also have never really felt guilty about anything. Guilt is a pointless emotion.

If the person is a pathetic excuse for a complete waste of space and is a scum and stain to society, then most likely yes. Sure, I would probably get arrested, branded a 'vigilante' , and I have to live with the thought of taking a life, but at least there's one less problem in the world. Problem is I don't have the means to kill them without endangering myself and attracting attention.

Well short "yes" killing is simple, push a button and poof dead people living with the guilt well it depends on who I killed and for what reason.
I would not be able though to kill in cold blood i.e. an unarmed no reason what so ever to person, but if say the persons armed and about to kill me then, well would not hesitate.
But after (guilt and that) I do not know and since the only way to tell is to kill, well prefer not to know or find out...

(edit) well also (real) accidents happens and IS your fault, so you could kill (not meaning it but still) maybe not live with it but kill all the same...

no i don't think i could unless the situation required a threat that would take my life if action is not take in time to stop them from kill me so i had to kill them. other than that i really would not want to kill any one.

In a War, I would. If Someone is trying to Kill me, My Family or Friends I would. If I knew they where a Pedophile, Rapist or a Murderer, I would. If it was to stop suffering I would.

Yes I could and would kill in under certain circumstances the easiest being self defense I don't think I'd feel guilty about it either if the person I had killed was attempting to kill me or those I care about they forced the situation the ounus is on them.
