anyone you have to fight mono-a-mono in final fantasy tactics. they all have abilities that knock off 95% of your health in one hit (if not over 100%), so all you can do is heal yourself and run away. you have to use some cheap strategy to defeat them and until you figure out what that is, you have to keep reloading your game and watching their dialog over and over again.

also, those fucking fire ant things from fallout 3... god i hate those.

Let's see... In Tomb Raider those winged atlanteans, the panther mummies, that floaty greek helmet that shoots lasers at you in Trajan Markets, the jade statues in Floating Islands, the fire spirits in TR4, Set/Horus in Temple of Horus and Sophia Lee. The general theme here is fast or shooting lasers.

In Final Fantasy: Malboros, Grand Dragons, Master Gizamaluke, Seymour Flux, Ark(IX), Garuda(III), Salamander(III), CPU in the Giant of Babil and Tonberries. Brick walls of bosses, some of these.

In Fallout: Glowing Ones, Reavers and sodding Cazadores... If the hits don't kill you, the poison will, and you'll pack an incinerator forever more.

Last, but by no means least, Vergil and Sanctus of Devil May Cry 3 & 4 respectively. Two of the most annoying bosses to fight that I have ever encountered. Which has just reminded me of those Blaze clones from Streets of Rage...

The ninja boss from Oni was hard as hell to defeat! Even on easy mode he tore everything up.
I had to do like fifty do-overs to get past him on my normal playthrough. Oh, and that one mission in StarLancer where you-- the pretty good pilot who's not even second-in-command of the squadron-- are responsible for the safety of an entire Alliance battlegroup: "shoot down all 200 enemy torpedoes after blowing up three Coalition capital ships and maybe we'll nod a thank you in your direction." Bull.

I'm going to go in a slightly different direction with Fallout: New Vegas, and say that I'd fight a thousand cazadors before I fight another freaking nightstalker... I mean yeah, the cazadors are powerful, but a couple of well placed shots to the head (once you're at a decent level) and they either go down or attack their friends, but the nightstalkers... I mean, not only are they are really disturbing mix between a dog and a snake, but they are RIDICULOUSLY difficult to land a shot on. Even if I'm using VATS mode, level 35, I've got a 100 in guns, and I have a 95% hit probability, the little buggers still somehow manage to avoid every other shot I fire at them!
AND THIS. FUCK NIGHTSTALKERS.

Other than that, I really can't think of anything that was too difficult for me.

As for things I just plain dislike, there are numerous ones in WoW, such as satyrs, those little "eeuuugh-reeeegggh" things you find in Outland, and on early-level characters, murlocs.

or Modai from Wizardry, they are fucking weak but they are so annoying and they show up all the time when you try to camp on low levels.
Probably anything from Daggerfall besides Rats... THE SOUNDS

I never really had much of a problem with them in Fallout. I never really hated Cazadores until Honest Hearts introduced me to the Giant Cazadores, and even then, the Green Geckos were worse.

If I were to choose of all the things that annoy me in New Vegas, it would definitely be the Legionary Assassins. Those guys are dicks. Especially when they catch me in a settlement, then I have to protect myself, the companions, and the people of the settlements.
They never really do much damage to me, but they come around so often that they just annoy me so much.

Also, back in Fallout 3, the motherfudging jerkwad Feral Ghoul Reavers. And God help you if they do the glitch where they become invulnerable.
Screw you Reavers. Get out of my Fallout. Thank God Obsidian nerfed 'em in New Vegas.

Again, something I dislike comes from Oblivion (even though I liked the game, I'm starting to see a trend here): goblins. F*** goblins. I hate fighting them and if I find a cave/dungeon/whatever that has a dungeon infestation, unless it is a quest which I think will yield some good stuff, I'm out. I will leave immediately. They are the one creature I refuse to fight in that game because they suck. They can absorb a ridiculous amount of damage, even when using the Umbra sword at 125% and 113 Strength and they attack faster than anything else in the game and there are always too many of them! UGH!
Totally with you there; it doesn't help they drop crap loot as well, even at level 40 odd, they still drop crap weapons, crap shields and pitiful amounts of other stuff.

Zubats from the early Pokemon games; man they got really repetitive; other Pokemon games have had similar vermin, but Zubat takes the biscuit for being a fast arsehole who keeps hitting me and refuses to let me escape.

Cazadors from New Vegas, because nothing ruins a game like a stupidly overpowered creature that practically instakills your companions, travels in packs and will ALWAYS outrun you. Thankfully they don't respond too well to .50 MG rounds through the torso.

On the subject of Fallout, the enemies added by Broken Steel can go and die in a hole; I mean seriously WHAT!?
Feral Ghoul Reavers smack you flying, are virtually impossible to kill before they hit you and glitch half the time to become invincible.
Super Mutant Overlords often carrying tri-beam laser rifles which just happen to be extraordinarily powerful and can kill you in less than five shots (unless you have power armour).
Albino Radscorpions regenerate health, inflict massive damage and their poison practically instakills you on harder difficulties.

Ansem from Kingdom hearts: Chain of Memories....I've yet to beat the dude and been trying off and on for the past like 6 years lol
If you've played Chain of Memories, have you also played Birth by Sleep? In that game is an enemy currently known as the Unknown, or the Mysterious Figure and on the higher difficulty modes and lower levels he is less of a boss fight and more of an ordeal. Every attack that lands will bring you down to one hp with the finishing blow always right behind.

I've beaten him with all three playable characters, but damned if it never seems to get any easier
There is also the dustwing boss in the mission mode for 358/2 days. Every attacks does a random debuff to you and can also somtimes oneshot you. When i beat him it took me around 30 minutes

Started playing Resident Evil 5 a few days ago (too late to the party... just like Mass Effect) and 3rd or 4th level, after saving Sheva from a building of death, we ran down a path and a zombie with a chainsaw cut through the fence blocking our path and started screaming and running at us.

A zombie with a chainsaw. I loved Street Fighter 4, both Dead Risings, I even poked at some Mega-Man 2 and thought it was pretty cool, but a ZOMBIE WITH A CHAINSAW. What virus infected the minds of the devs at Capcom that made them think it was a good idea giving a zombie a MOTHER F*CKING CHAINSAW was a good idea?

Needless to say, on Normal Difficulty, the thing takes multiple explosions, punches, and headshots to eventually take down.

And I quote myself after I killed it after my 5th attempt "Capcom, no more chainsaw-zombies, please, you already made me feel like a super-KKK member with these zombies, no more chainsaws"

Capcom heeded my prayer and next level threw a bat-centipede at me.

And this is why I love Resident Evil 5.

Cazadores.

Boy, do I hate em.
See, I found this odd. I was told to fear them but when I got into playing Vegas... They give an annoying DoT but it's never anything I can't handle. Depending on my character, I can take out half a group of them before one even touches me.

Shadow kanji in Persona 4. Why you ask? My persona was weak to physical attacks. Guess what attacks kanji uses? Seriously fuck that guy...

I'm going to have to say stealthers in LotRO: I'm having a nice fight against a guy 5 levels higher then me, then one pops up and tries to kill me >.<" never works, but is annoying.

Also going to have to agree with Lanius. I just used my sniper to get my first shot into him from near one of the watch towers, switched to annebelle with HE rounds to take out the guys coming from the other watch tower, then switched to a grenade machinegun with HE rounds to kill the punk. Thank god for power armor. You would think a .50 to the face would kill the guy, but it barely makes a dent.... at least the helm is awesome looking.

Though I find Fiends to be more an annoyance, stupidly accurate with laser weapons, and I run the realistic headshots, which means they end up killing me in a barrage of fire while I'm trying to pick them off. There's also the spiders that I ended up adding with some mod or another, think it was momod, but the bloody things do not die and you can't headshot them.

Cazadors, that and Deadhand. Albino Rad Scorpions are evil a well. I am not too found of Tonberry's either.
