One player brought the decapitation perk to its logical conclusion.

Skyrim is now well-recognized as the pinnacle in open-ended and emergent gameplay. The designers at Bethesda have provided a fantasy sandbox where players are generally able to do whatever they wish. While some players have scoffed at not being able to murder children - and installed mods which allowed such "pedo-cide" - one player decided to turn the creep-factor up to eleven without any apparent mods. The one-handed or two-handed weapon perk decapitation performs the killing blow by cutting off the victim's head. YouTube poster "Symixable" created a video of his house which he just happened to decorate with the bodies and heads of the women he has killed in Skyrim.

The video tour of Symixable's house in what looks like Solitude (I haven't gotten there yet in my game, let me know if I'm wrong) is downright disturbing. The music certainly adds to the horror ambiance to make you feel nervous just hearing it, but I think the fact that the women are all devoid of clothing is what really puts this video into freaky serial-killer territory. Like that guy who watches the Buffalo Bill scene in Silence of the Lambs a little too often, I fear for Symixable's sanity.

I respect that a player can play any role in Skyrim, even that of a deviant killer. I just don't want this guy anywhere near me, in game or not.

GAHHHHHH?!?!??!!? GREG!!! SPOILERS!!!

EDIT: ok ok, sorry, there aren't supposed to be posts in all caps and with low content.

So I will expand my point:

How could you put something like this out there without spoiler warnings?! I actually came on here specifically to report the person who posted such a topic whose very title contains spoilers! And low and behold, it's one of the Escapist staff members who has posted a video without any spoiler captions or anything! I'm so disappointed now!
The fuck. what spoilers?

As opposed to your normal, cheery Skyrim serial killer?
Yes, when I am doing my serial killing I make it quick and painless and say "Sorry about this buddy.".

.......... I'm worried that the only thing I have wrong with that is that fact that it was a women. Maybe I should go and see a doctor. Just kidding. In all seriousness, I honestly don't see the point in having that in the game. Sure, the child-killing mod ads more realism, but why do need to go about, killing people and decorating your home with their corpses. Now that guy (I assume it is a guy) is giving more fuel to people that are trying to ban violent games.

Every to his own I guess.

Shame I can't try that out. Since the 1.2 patch broke my game, I guess I'm screwed until the next patch comes out. How is it broken? Well it completely removes all resistances on everything, and I can't absorb dragon souls. To say nothing of the now glitched-as-fuck dragons I'm experiencing.

As for the video, well I didn't even know you could pick up and carry heads around. So yeah, now I actually want to try this because I had no idea I could do it.
Uninstall, reinstall, don't patch?
He probably doesn't want to lose his character.

Now wait a minute... HOW do you carry corpses into buildings??
Hey...
That's a very good point. How do you do that?
We need to know.
He probably told the companions to follow him and married others...and that just makes it more creepy.

Kind of reminds me of when I found the night mother's head in Oblivion and kept it in a jar in my arch mage room for the rest of the game.

Good times, good times.

You people disturb me. No, not this guy or the child-death mod people, you people calling them "sick". I have to question YOUR mental well-being if you honestly believe that morals, sanity, or anything else from real life applies in an imaginary world. Was the guy who wrote Silence of the Lambs sick? Are the people who go on murder sprees in GTA sick? Where do you get off drawing these imaginary moral lines in imaginary worlds?

OT: This is awesome. It also suggests that they need to start incorporating NPC/AI systems for detecting mass murder and body vandalization so that the citizens of the Elder Scrolls games can react accordingly.

I'm seeing a few posts against the guy that did this. Sure, it's pretty creepy....if you look at it in a "Only a sick person in real life would do that.". I like to think I'm totally normal. I have a decent job, a girlfriend, many mates, etc. And yet I once spent nearly three hours hunting everyone down in Megaton in Fallout 3, removing all their limbs with a ripper and then organising them all into limb/torso/head piles.

Video games are generally where you can do stuff you would never do in real life. I hate people that abuse animals, yet I have no problem shooting bunnies in Red Dead or skinning dogs....also in Red Dead.

I'm impressed with the level of creepy that this guy reached.

Though I'd hope never to meet him, my bet is that he's completely harmless in real life. Still...very disturbing.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one having issues with this new patch. Completely kicked my Nord in the balls removing his natural Frost Resistance.

Wait. Is there a specific way you need to attack/land a final blow on someone to decapitate them? i.e. Power attacks only result in decapitation?
There is a perk that makes your power strikes decapitate your enemy.
Ah. Yes. I have the perk I was just wondering if there was some extra step I was missing to make decapitation happen everytime.
It doesn't happen every time. I'm pretty sure it's a 25% chance of decapitation with a standing/stationary power attack for the killing blow.
