Alright, that was a good laugh.

But I've gotta point out, what's with the odd little .gif artifacts. The .gif dithering in this case has lead to having our protagonist etched with red polkadots in her hair. And a few other notable artifacts throughout. The effects in the 4th panel seems a bit undeserved by the compression.
The Escapist runs either jpeg or gif, Jepg makes the line art look fuzzy. We could use PNG but when I tested it out the file size pretty much trippled.

Plus I'm red/Brown colour blind! No artifacts for me.

HAHAHAHA....HAHAHAHAHAHA.HA HA HA HA.
.......
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That was great.
My sides hurt now....

If Final Fantasy became like that, i would buy every copy i could find and give them away.

If they were ever going to Remake FF7 that's how they should do it.

*Sephiroth swoops down and does his thang*
*Cloud Activates Rage of Sparta*

Im drooling just thinking about it.

Wow, imply that FFXIII is boring and Gears of War is about overmasculine men breaking things.

Clearly my time machine worked and I'm back before everyone else ever made this joke.

One must never cross the streams of gaming.

I think this is a mistake! You can't multiply awesomeness of Final Fantasy 13 like that. It still X (the awesomeness of any game)x 0 (aweso... Can finish that sentence. Let say, enjoyment of 13) = 0.

But I'll concede that that goody two shoes of Pandora can get on the nerves. It god of war, not Sim City. Looking forward to the next comic.

(Also, for those who will no doubt scream at my comments. I'm not a JRPG Hater, i have 7,8,9,12, sigh...13 of Final Fantasy,(i only liked 7 and 9. More 9 than seven)Star Ocean New Hope and First Departure. Played Tales of Legendia and went through the first 5 hours of Abyss(it belonged to a friend and he ask it back) and now i'm looking forward to P.3.P. (Persona 3 Portable). They didn't interested me in their own universe and i don't want to stop every chapter to read all that i needed to know before the cutscene i just watched.)

Why is it that the picture of the girl in the headline is of mmuch higher quality that of the overall comic? I hate how so many web comics these days have such lousy art. I know you can still tell a good joke even without good drawing skills, but this comic doesn't even have the writing in its favour.

Heh, well alright then. That certainly makes sense. Still I wish I could express to you properly how the dots appear to others and how it makes the colors strange and murky. If it's an argument between line sharpness or dithering, that's definitely a tricky one to decide.

Anycase, why not go with the huge file size? I'm fairly certain the vast majority of users here have a machine that can handle it. Unless of course, you're worried about the small fraction that still access the internet via dial-up. Then it makes some sense as they might be reading while the image is still loading.

Seems I'm not the only one who noticed.

Hehe. These are funny. Keep making them. Or I will cross-contaminate your copies of Portal and Modern Warfare 2.

I have noticed the dots as well and it seems to change depending on monitor and resolution, my laptop barely showed the dots whereas a computer at school made them obnoxiously obvious bright pixels.

you cant really, practically use this information to help yourself but its food for thought...
