Is this the Mass Effect version of The Shawshank Redemption?

OT: Interesting, how do volus even re-produce?

The title would suggest it is a Mass Effect version of American History X

All that's missing is Morgan Freeman and a rock hammer.
Next comic, a Batarian who can get anything...

Huh.

...

Well, I never turned that guy in. So I have nothing to worry about.

Blasphemy! You can't do that to a God! All shall bow before that Volus and despair, Reapers will run crying to their mummies at the very sight of him. Just realised that's not the volus I was thinking of, you are talking about the Volus from the Justicar recruitment mission judging by the art scheme *facepalm*

(I liked the comic and the new(?-yep that's brackets within brackets *deal with it*) art style. You have a slightly disturbing turn of mind if you think of things like this when you play Mass Effect of all things though :) )

I assume American History X. Funny either way.

Wait...I think I did the mission with the volus and the cops just 2 days ago!

:p Oh I like to imagine this is what happened to him. The Elcor are always good for a laugh.

So this seems to be incredibly funny, but since I never played mass effect, I don´t understand.

Rape: It's funny if it's in prison... and it's a dude on the receiving end.

Rape joke! Another rape joke!

I wonder if this is going to turn into another Dickwolf controversy...

(Convention [that I borrow from math] says to use a different style bracket inside your brackets.)

([{}])

ETA: You know... the whole Dickwolf thing did not start as a valid complaint against a rape joke, since it wasn't really a joke about rape (the humor was in the patent heartlessness of the PC). But this right here is a definite rape joke. Come on, guys, seriously? Anytime your pitch for a joke involves, "It's funny because he's going to be raped," get a new joke.

That elcor is about to crack him open like an egg. Oh yeah.

That's not me being "cute", either. That's the exact kind of visual you're going to get when that volus's suit breaches while the elcor "tries to find a hole". You're welcome for that mental image.
