EVERYONE, The Church is assuming that you are not having casual sex. The Church says No Sex Until Marriage. That is the position of the Church and why they do not like condoms for STD control, because you should only have sex with one person (your husband/wife).

Sadly we all know that still doesn't prevent the risks of other STDs, however the Vatican really likes to condemn and judge and tell others how to live.

Sorry, but that's how I see it...every religion has its zealots.

When the Catholic church is no longer synonymous with child molestation, then I might listen to what they have to say. Abstaining until marriage is no guarantee that STDs wont be contracted or transmitted either.

If you want total protection, you need those giant body condoms from the first Naked Gun movie. I bet they would have a few more uses too.

This is the idea of harm minimisation versus zero-tolerance. Like how there are safe injection centers for drug users even though some might think they encourage drug use.

IIRC (and one of the satirical political shows I watch is right) the pope said recently that condoms to control aids were okay for MALE prostitutes, but anybody else doing it can go to hell.
