Dunce looked around. The people in the village making fools of themselves for absolutely no reason. Naara didn't like these things. He never did, even as a child he never went out of his way to meet new people. She had to introduce herself to him when they first met.
She looked around for a few minutes. Jumping over the crowds trying to see if she could see any further. She jumped on top of a wooden barrel and looked for him. She finally spotted him. She shook her head and smiled.
"Always trying to avoid big crowds aren't ya Naara."
She jumped off of the barrel and ran towards him. Unfortunately The Old Gaffer or 'Gramps' as Dunce called him got to Naara first. Naara's shriek could be heard through the crowd. And much to his dislike he was grabbed and the villagers paraded around him like a bunch of bafoons. She never like the fact that they only ever celebrated Toan, Naara's father at the towns festival. They seemingly ignored everyone else who had helped, especially her great grandfather Seda. He had helped Toan in his journeys but they always forgot about him. A point that Dunce always pointed out. She was proud of her great grandfather and was sure that everyone would remember their name.
She ran over to Naara and grabbed his arm. They spoke for a bit behind the tents that were all over the town because of the festival. Suddenly screams could be heard from every direction. Dunce and Naara peaked their head to see who it was, even though they already knew. Dunce was about to scream but Naara put his hand over her mouth. He told her his plan and she nodded in agreement. Side by side they ran to find the others. Dunce spoke with a smile on her face.
"Alright Naara, time to save the world!"
<spoiler=OOC>Hope its ok that I made Seda, Dunce's great grandfather. If not then I'll change it.
