Brothers! Sisters! Strangers! Escapists! Recommend me a show!

Don´t bother with simply adequate! Recommend me the BEST you know! No holds barred! Whatever genre! Just no Sit-Coms.

Now, just to let you know what I´ve seen her is a little list. Incomplete and in semi-random order:

- The Wire and Carnivale. My two favorite shows of all time!
- The Sopranos
- Oz
- Breaking Bad
- True Blood
- Eureka
- Dexter
- One piece (my guilty pleasure).
- Death Note (probably the best anime I know of)

So! Gimme!

Brazil - it's not a show but I'm sticking to my theme goddamnit. If a show is absolutely necessary then may I recommend Toopy and Binoo.
Seen it! Loved it! Good recommendation!

QI is my favourite show, not sure if they have it in the United States of Wherever You Are-Land, but you can probably get it.

I just have to warn you that if you start to enjoy it in the end you will only be saddened.

I like this show! But it´s still a sit-com. I want something with a spanning story-arc.

"I´m disabled!"

hehe. Always cracks me up!

Fringe has had two solid seasons.

Although it is a miniseries, Pillars of the earth from stars is done exceptionally well.

Rescue me for the prior seasons as been great, this current one, not so much IMHO.

Got a few others, but cant think at the moment.

That would be 'Firefly' (and the movie 'Serenity' which ties up the loose ends after the show). It's a Space Western with a sort of East-meets-West theme throughout.
