i think it would be quite funny if this happened.

you save your game as usuall, come of WoW

open WoW again and finally the patch has come where the land is different.

it downloads, get back on the character, and right where he is standing, a massive crater filled with lava XD

no doubt happen to me...

That's definitely commitment right there...
More like obsession...
Why is is obsession?
You know it is actually possible to enjoy WoW without being addicted.
I highly doubt that statement.

Jokes aside, I haven't played WoW that much, but I know for a fact that the boss monsters are among the hardest in gaming history. If you manage to beat a boss a few hours after its release it means that
a) You got the game on the very first hour, probably pre-ordered it
b) played the game from then on
c) mastered that boss' dungeon
d) managed to memorize that particular boss' specific attack patterns, spells, immunities etc etc

Not only did they check all four of those points, it was at least 10 people doing so.

Sorry, but in this case - I am right and you are wrong. Those people are most likely obsessed with WoW.
And I did not say that about every WoW player, even if you put those words into my mouth.

Im sorry, I was under the assumption that the Lich king was a GOD AMONG MEN! I didnt realize that he could be killed by a buncha saps in tier 9 gear. im sorry Blizzard, but I just cant see you kill of all of your excellent, memorable, depth filled characters. stop milking this cash cow, PLEASE. I understand that money is enjoyable, but youv really, REALLY got to move on. WoW has ruined one of my favorite lore universes, but I digress. just please, please dont make a starcraft MMO, at least leave me that!

Why is Arthas like 20 feet tall in that picture?
Because the raid needs to be able to see him it's a physical representation of how powerful he is he's been taking steroids.

I just don't remember him becoming a giant at the end of the Frozen Throne (because he didn't).

Yeaaaaaaaa! Go Illidan! I used to play on Illidan before I quit. I knew we'd be back at the top one day.

All heroes in Warcraft III and such were usually bigger than their subordinates. It's why Arthas is taller than us in Culling of Stratholme, why thrall is bigger than us, Jaina, Sylvannas, etc etc etc and so on and so forth.

We are heroes the size of mere footmen/grunts. At least until you pop open a giant growth potion that is.

This is why I will never play WoW online. Not that I'm saying the game sucks or I wouldn't have a total blast, quite the contrary.

My problem is that once I started playing I would never get anything DONE ever again. I already spend way too much time on places like The Escapist, I can only imagine how much I would waste on something like WoW...

Career, World of Warcraft... Career, World of Warcraft... I'm thinking, dammit!

Grats to the US though, this has to be your first world-first in...half a dozen raid dungeons now? ;)
I'd say grats to the people who did it. Not the country. Don't see why someone Geographical location matters when it comes to games.
You wouldn't think so, but the WoW forums seek to disagree. They always disagree.
