"I have no specific information on the working quarters of the employees, my schematics of this station could do with an update. I do remember Mr. Wilson, however, and his office should be located in administration."

He paused a moment to check his scans of the ship. "The door outside should lead you to the docking/loading area."

"Oh goodie!" Silas exclaimed, sarcasm heavy in his voice. "You don't have an updated map of the ship, there's no guns and the whole place is unresponsive! At least the power's still on, otherwise we'd have a text book case of survival horror syndrome, wouldn't we?"

He sighed, then began speaking in a somewhat more normal tone. "Whatever, I doubt anything that interesting would ever happen, instead we're doomed boredom and repetition for the next few months." He reached into his pocket and drew a cigarette, then paused before putting it in his mouth. "I can still smoke, right? Or is there some regulation against smoking in this facility?"

Marcus listened to the other's conversations, now very nervous about the situation, but he remained looking unfazed.
"We all ready to head out?" He said, taking a step towards the open door into the empty corridor.
"And can you tell me where Administration is, Verg?"

George sighed, is it wasn't already clear something seemed wrong about this whole station, it was almost as if noone was on it atall, but this thought made no sense, where could they of gotten to?

He summoned his nerves and stepped down into the corridor, his feets steps causing a metalic echo to through the corridor, he took a bottle and poured several pills into his hand before gulping them all down.

His nerves tamed he continued down the corridor

"Well we cant stay here all day thats for sure, Its been a couple years but i think i remember this place well enough, administration is on the first floor through Docking"

He silently hoped that if anything was afoot his old friends on the station were okay

Allister was interested with the sudden influx of events. The Station accepted the Ship, but no one there to greet us, No humans besides us. Since it could accept us, Power is definitely online. No signs of Structural Damage. Interesting....

Allister's Curiosity slowly influenced him to speak up "So, why don't we go in already? There doesn't seem to be any apparent danger yet, so we should be able to go inside with as little danger as possible" Bullshit. There is DEFINITELY something going on here. Too curious to care though.

Sorry if this post seems out of Character a bit, I wanna get the story going. NOW

"I couldn't agree more. I'm sure they are just suffering from some minor electronic problems, nothing to worry about." Vergil entered the conversation again, after his awkward silence. He had no access to the station's systems, but this lack of activity of any kind scared him more than he'd like to admit to himself.

Allister nodded, trying to keep his enthusiasm in check. There was probably something Extremely unpleasant in there. But his curiosity would accept no other answer besides keep moving forward.

He looked at the Machine, and gave up on trying to form a Dossier, he knew enough. "Indeed VI, there's probably nothing to be afraid of there, so i suggest we go in and figure out what's wrong. We won't be in any danger."

"Well, here goes nothing"

Humming happily to himself, Nathan walked down towards the enterance to the station

"Anytime you sissy's want to actually get off the ship, just follow me"

He called back cheerfully

"Indeed... Onwards and upwards, then..." Samuel mumbled, following Nathan. He pulled a scalpel out of his pocket and twirled it between his fingers as a means of comfort; it was a bit silly, as there was slim to no chance of there being something horrible lurking in the darkness, but with darkness you can never really tell for sure, can you?

Allister managed to successfully limit his Enthusiasm and finally act accordingly. "No worries Nathan, I'm right behind you." and When the inevitable Eldritch Abomination comes and tries to kill us, at least you're death will allow the rest of us a chance to break for it.

Marcus followed, quickly pulling near the front of the group, feeling it his duty as Security. He walked with the group forward, occasionally looking back at the entrance to the ship, feeling insecure at the lack of being on escape transport.

As the group approached the closed bulkhead at the end of the hallway, the words
Code:
ERROR: CONTACT ADMINISTRATION
became visible on the door display, flashing in red, bold letters. The door showed marks of hastily having been welded close.

[blockquote]This is to demonstrate how you can interact with the world, if you are the right person to do it. An engineer/mechanic could probably get this one open with only minor problems. [/blockquote]

Allister had absolutely no experience with machines, and asked the rest of his fellows. "Hey Guys, anyone of you know how to fix this? I got nothing. If Not, we may have to improvise a solution."

Marcus shrugged. "Not me. Could go back and get someone who can, or did you have something in mind?"
He eyed the bulkhead. He kept his cool physically, not showing any signs of wavering, but the flashing red letters seemed to scream it him 'Something's WRONG'.

Allister thought about it for a while. "Yeah, I suggest you go on back and ask someone to accompany us. In Hindsight, it seems stupid to go here in the first place without one." Allister completely ignored Marcus' comment though. If he makes the others panic, then the entire thing's a bust. They all have to be calm for now."

"Well, I guess we'll wait for one of our mechanical orientated crew mates to come along"

Nathan said, leaning against the wall

"But the fact that the door has been welded shut is troubling..."

"Move aside. Let at it." Stephen got out his mobile welder and got to work on the door to get it open.

"Hastily done. Sloppy work. Either they were lazy or in a hurry."

After a minute of counteracting the welds, the door opened.

"Open sesame"

Marcus watched Stephen work quickly, after arriving by himself.
"Well, seems we got an engineer then..." He said, as the door pulled open.
He gazed inside.

Allister looked into the dark void of the open Door. "Hmm. Let's take a look shall we? Marcus, could you please take point? You're the only one here with combat experience. Not to mention a flashlight." Not exactly true. Me and the Eye Surgeon knows how to fight. But a Security Guard would seem more logical as the Pointman instead of the Psychologist and the Eye Surgeon.

George surveyed Stephens handy work

"Not bad, not bad at all Stephen, working with you doesn't seem so bad after all, Now lets get in there and find the light switch"
