This is outrageous!

A gamer without his miscellanea is like a beaver with dentures!

I for one would not give up my dogfish-in-a-jar, stuffed alligator skull, dragon statuette, queen conch shell, or Halo 3 Legendary Edition Mjolnir Mark VI helmet under any (normal) circumstance. And none of those are even one tenth as cool as a fracking life-size Orc statue!

Well, I would've kept the thing.

Sucks to be that guy, losing a piece of Warcraft art right there.

they were going to move to canada anyways?!!??!
I always welcome more countrymen but by god not at the price of a man being parted with his Orc via extortion!

awww I remember seeing this thing in Falkirk. I was in there just as they prepared to shut the store down with my mum & before they sold it. I swear to god that Orc is terrifying so I really don't blame her.

Mind you, Canada is a weeeeee bit extreme.

I can sympathize with this poor guy. I have a giant stuffed gorilla (not like a taxidermy one), and there's no way in hell I'll get rid of him. I even built him a chair out of K'nex, and there he sits quite comfy. A girl needs to be okay with me and my giant monkey.
Off-topic, but dude, you built a chair big enough to hold a stuffed animal out of K'nex? I give you props. Best thing I ever built was an ATV, and I had directions for that.

Orcs aren't the real problem. It's the trolls. Them green little things that dwell under bridges.

As many have said before, I woulda told her to go fuck herself. Hell when my wife pulls shit like that I tell her to just go, but she has to go alone. My son is number 1 to me.

As a Canadian, I must ask: why would she threaten to move here? She should have gone somewhere tropical. If he's a WoW player, his pasty nerd skin couldn't handle the tropical sun.
She actually is Canadian originally, she threatened to move back. What a bitchy *****.

Yeah, I think the orc is pretty hideous and lame, but it's bound to be worth some money someday, right? Nevermind the fact that she shouldn't be giving ultimatums, trying to change him, or whatever.. surely she could appreciate the fact that it's a valuable collector's thingamajig? I mean, at the very least, he could keep it in the basement or something.

What. A. *****. They got married, she must have known about it before then, so she was almost definitely bluffing, or she would have said before they got married. Apart from that, why couldn't he put it somewhere else or something. I want that thing and I have never played WoW. Besides, if you're willing to make ultimatums like that over something so petty, then you obviously don't value the relationship that much. I would have just replied with something along the lines of, "you have me, you have my hobbies and passions as well".

It's a fucken sweet chair. It'll support my weight, and I'm a good 185-200 lbs. I had to adjust the original one, though, so this is a version 2.0--I wanted a recliner, but I didn't have enough pieces. Stands a good 4ft wide, maybe 4 1/2 tall.

Are you sure it was his wife & not his mommy?

I'd have kept the Orc.

I'm a woman, & if my man/girlfriend threatened to leave me because I had a rare piece of memorablilia he/she couldn't stand the site of, I'd help them pack, because he/she is clearly unrelyable & unloyal.

I'll bet she won't stop at the Orc either. She'll find other little nicknacks to threaten to leave him over. She's obviously asserting complete control over him, trying to change him...If you can't eccept someone for how they are & what they have, don't get involved in the first place.

It's times like this that make me disqusted with my own gender. I rarely hear a story about a woman having to make a comrpomise.
