It would have been nice when it was first talked about, but now when it's already been rejected to us, most of us are a little discouraged about it.

U know i absolutly hate it when ppl read a thread with a game they hate......cause all they do is come in and say blah this game sucks it shouldnt be redone.
WE DONT GIVE A FUCK IF YOU DONT LIKE IT! we are the customers who are interested in it. asking ppl who hate the game is as smart as asking vegeterians if they should add cheese to steak cause they obviously didnt like steak on its own or if you added cheese.
i personally think yeah remaster it it was a really popular game back then but these days its hard to play great games like them cause ive sold all my older consoles for the newer ones.

If you were going to remake it(and I don't think that's the best use of their time, but it would definitely be profitable), then the console chosen should be the PS2. It has a much much larger user base than the PS3, and difference in available graphic quality between the PS1 and PS2 is considerably greater than the difference between the PS2 and PS3. Remaking it for the PS2 while being careful to keep it forward compatible with the PS3 would give the best bang for their buck.
The thing is that everyone is not only entitled to their own opinions, but they're also entitled to share those opinions, so long as they stay on topic. In this case, the topic is a question, "do you think FF7 should be remastered?", so if anyone says, "no it should not be remastered, it's a horrible game", it's perfectly fine, since they're 100% on-topic. There's no point in being upset just because some people are vocal about their opinions. So long as they aren't flaming, they aren't doing anything wrong.Kai-Tiger said:

In my opinion they should, only to finally appease the rabid fans. Even if they do remake it, Tetsuya Nomura will get his claws in it with his retarded retcons to the story and could potentially ruin it, if that hasn't been done so already.
Final Fantasy VII was a good game for its time. But leave it in the past, it belongs there. Like some people said already, Square need to focus on new games.

Incorrect, theres a big difference saying no it shouldnt be remastered and saying no it should be done because I dont like the game or have no intention of the playing the game or I hate Final Fantasy since they have had like 13 games in the series.Fantastico said:
